I'm very surprised that Florida will be getting the nod. I love to see them in the title game, but I hate the fact that it will involve this much controversy by leaving out another great team like Michigan. Right now, I can't see Florida winning the game. The run defense is spectacular, and I believe they can shut down almost any back in college football, but they haven't seen a quarterback like Troy Smith all year and he will cause major problems for UF's secondary.

The BCS Selection show is tomorrow, at 8 PM EST on Fox.

Right now... I just don't know. Florida deserves a shot at the National Championship. Going 12-1 with 4 top 20 teams on the schedule is amazing. Michigan also deserves a shot at the National Championship. Losing to the top team in the country, on the road, by three points is by no means a bad loss. Having said that, Florida played a tougher schedule IMO. But... I don't think the pollsters will be able to resist the Ohio State-Michigan for the National Championship storyline and Michigan will get the nod. It's a god damn shame that one of these teams will get the shaft because they both really do deserve a chance.

I have never seen a football game with that many twists and turns. One of the most entertaining games I've ever seen. I really think Florida deserves a shot at the title. But so does Michigan. I can't really decide right now but I hate to see controversy yet again in the BCS. Either way, it's great to finally be SEC Champs again.

Wow. If Florida really hammers Arkansas in the second half I can honestly see them making it to Glendale. But again, it's CRITICAL that the Gators DO NOT get to excited over this. They still need to take care of business.

Wow. Near flawless first half for the Gators. McFadden did have a few runs but nothing huge which is all I hoped for. However... two things Florida CAN'T do are: 1) Start scoreboard watching. USC is losing. Great. It doesn't matter if the Gators collapse in the second half. (I fully anticipate a last second USC win) 2) Get conservative. I've seen it twice this year, and both times it nearly cost the Gators the game. Continue to put the ball in Leak's hands and good things will happen. Edit: HOLY SHIT

Wow, not even I will argue that Florida should be in the title game. I'm simply mystified with how this team plays in second halves of games. I just don't get it. If not for the defense, this team is 8-4 at best.
