Illinois needs Ohio State to get into the title game as if they were to end up in the Top 14 the Rose Bowl will take them as the Buckeyes' replacement.
-
Woooooo 49ers eight game losing streak is over. Kurt Warner fumbles the ball in his own endzone and the 49ers recover for the winning score in overtime. Thank God as I thought for sure it was going to end in a tie. Hey maybe they'll only hand the Patriots the #3 pick overall instead of the #2!

I'm not into making projections a month into the season, basically so I won't look stupid, and I like to wait until the final week of the season to make projections. Now these are purely based on every higher ranked team winning their game next week and obviously that won't happen but it makes it easier to make projections that way. Note Navy, Southern Miss, and Memphis have already accepted invites to bowls. BCS: Missouri vs. West Virginia Orange: Virginia Tech vs. Georgia Fiesta: Kansas vs. Arizona State Sugar: LSU vs. Hawaii Rose: Ohio State vs. USC Capital One: Florida vs. Illinois Cotton: Kansas vs. Arkansas Holiday: Oregon vs. Texas Chick-fil-A: Boston College vs. Auburn Gator: Oklahoma vs. Clemson Outback: Tennessee vs. Wisconsin Sun: South Florida vs. California Alamo: Penn State vs. Texas A&M Champs Sports: Virginia vs. Michigan Music City: Mississippi State vs. Florida State Insight: Texas Tech vs. Indiana Meineke Car Care: Cincinnati vs. Wake Forest Las Vegas: BYU vs. Oregon State Liberty: UCF vs. Alabama Independence: Kentucky vs. Colorado Emerald: UCLA vs. Maryland Motor City: Central Michigan vs. Michigan State Humanitarian: Boise State vs. Georgia Tech GMAC: Bowling Green vs. Tulsa Texas: Houston vs. New Mexico International: Rutgers vs. Ball State Poinsettia: Navy vs. Utah Armed Forces: Air Force vs. Purdue PapaJohns.com: Connecticut vs. Southern Miss Hawaii: Fresno State vs. East Carolina New Orleans: Troy vs. Memphis New Mexico: TCU vs. Louisiana Tech

Of course a reminder, with the exception of phoenixrising all picks must be made by PM. Week 13 Deadline #2 Thursday, November 29th, 7:30 PM EST/4:30 PM PST Week 13 Games to Make Picks For - Part 2 THURSDAY Rutgers at Louisville FRIDAY MAC: Central Michigan vs. Miami of Ohio CUSA: Tulsa at UCF ACC: Boston College vs. Virginia Tech SEC: LSU vs. Tennessee Oregon State at Oregon Arizona at Arizona State XII: Oklahoma vs. Missouri Tiebreak #1: How many total points will be scored in the Big XII Championship Game? Tiebreak #2: How many rushing yards will UCF's Kevin Smith have against Tulsa?
-
I think the more pertinent question here is will Brent Musberger figure out that his name is Chase Daniel and not Chase Daniels before the Big XII Championship?
-
In 1992 Gino Torretta beat out Marshall Faulk and Garrison Hearst for the Heisman and it was at that time I realized how pointless the award was. Seriously people, stop caring about it.

So if every higher ranked team in every relevant game wins next week, which won't happen but just humor me for a second, here are your likely BCS pairings. BCS: West Virginia vs. Missouri Rose: Ohio State vs. USC Sugar: LSU vs. Hawaii Orange: Virginia Tech vs. Georgia Fiesta: Kansas vs. Arizona State
-
Clemson beats South Carolina on a last second field goal sending the Gamecocks to their fifth straight loss and likely ending their season.
-
You've stormed the field before the game even ends. That's a 15 yard penalty. There's eight more games to pick next week.

UCLA puts Oregon out their misery. The Ducks have put on one of the worst displays of offense you'll ever see in major college football. Amazing to think that 10 days ago Oregon was projected to play for the BCS Championship and now could end up in the Emerald Bowl if certain scenarios play out in the final week of the season. Ya Dennis Dixon was pretty important. Oh and UCLA can still get to the Rose Bowl if they beat USC and Arizona beats Arizona State. I might just stop watching college football if that happens.
-
Fresno State is up 45-21 on Kansas State so unless there's a miracle comeback the Wildcats will fail to become bowl eligible. This will leave the Texas Bowl as an open bid and is good news for the likes of Purdue and New Mexico who may not have an available bid in conference.
-
FSU/Florida might be at halftime by the time this game ends. West Virginia has blown it open 45-14 on UConn so unless they shit the bed in the Backyard Brawl they are going to the BCS Championship Game.
-
Halfway thru the 3rd quarter in the Oregon/UCLA game, five different quarterbacks for both teams have combined for 7 for 35 for 64 yards and 2 interceptions. Just brutal.
-
What the hell is it about the SEC on CBS this year? Seriously they need to release a boxset of these games in the offseason.
-
You know things are going bad for Oregon when UCLA has only one first down and has yet to complete a pass halfway thru the 2nd quarter yet the Bruins lead 6-0.
-
In case you missed it yesterday, Eric Cartman introduces the Colorado offense and defense.
-
That's probably the game. Hawaii is one win away from likely the Sugar Bowl.
-
It was Nebraska in 2001 and they failed to even make the conference championship game although that was using a different formula than the current one. It's conceivable if Kansas blows out Missouri and then loses in some heartbreaking or controversial fashion to Oklahoma.
-
Texas A&M beats Texas which clinches the Big XII South for Oklahoma and eliminates the Longhorns from BCS at large consideration. Probably doesn't save Coach Fran's job if all those buyout rumors were true.
-
Zero. Let's not forget now that Georgia is still alive even with two losses, here's the scenario that would need to play out: West Virginia loses to UConn Tennessee loses to Kentucky (sends Georgia to SEC Championship) Missouri beats Kansas Georgia beats LSU Missouri loses to Oklahoma Ohio State would obviously end up #1 but Georgia would likely finish #2. I'm officially rooting for this to happen as I would love a two loss national champion.
-
And it's over! West Virginia now controls it's own destiny to get to the BCS Championship. Also we're now an Oklahoma win in the Big XII Championship from Ohio State getting into the title game.
-
Mississippi State hits a 48 yard field goal with 12 seconds to go to take the lead, 17-14. What a comeback.
-
Bulldogs get a punt return for a touchdown with 2:38 to go to tie it up 14-14.
