PR: the very reason why the word fan is short for fanatic. Understand this, my friend. The Clippers are going to take baby steps, if they are going to make any progress at all, for the following reasons. 1: There is still a stigma attached to that team. There is a reason why the bottom-dwelling teams in the Eastern Conference are called "The Clippers East". It will not completely go away until (which leads to my second point).... 2: Donald Sterling is still doing very little to actually improve his ballclub, which I will admit is a damn sight better than what he used to do in years past. Despite the "blockbuster" hiring of Mike Dunleavy, this means nothing in the grand scheme of things, because he is not willing to show (more than a tease here and there) that he wants to win. He wants to make money. That will ALWAYS be the primary reason why he owns a sports team, even though if he took a major risk and started from scratch and built from there, he would get a long-term return on his investment with intelligent drafting and a TRUE commitment to the team and winning in general. Which brings me to my third point.... 3: The reason why there is selfishness from certain players is because THEY WANT TO LEAVE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. After being drafted or traded there, they realize that things are not going to change in upper management, so they start trying to showcase themselves to other teams in hopes for a trade or (more likely) to be desireable when unrestricted free agency rolls around. That why offer sheets get matched when talented players are courted my other teams. I know you are a fan, but you're blind if you think the Clippers are going to make any kind of noise as long as Sterling owns the team. There is a miasma of losing in the air, and I have to give props to the players of recent years for fighting against it, but when you have an owner who only cares about making as much money off the team as he can and nothing else, you will start choking on it. The Clippers will not make very much headway until someone buys the team, Like a Mark Cuban or the Maloofs or that guy who owns the Red Sox. Someone who is able to think outside the box, and get people interested in the team, and show a commitment to WINNING. Nothing breeds success quite like that.

when the clips played at any time Martin had a thought.... That show was brilliant.

I go to Subway's regularly, though I went to Quizno's when I lived in Orlando and it was good... Subway is instrumental is helping me lose weight, even though I'm not doing the Jared thing..

I don;t know CJ, but the idea of Peter North doing spots for Gatorade is extremely funny to me. And yes, as previously mentioned (myself being a black male), there is that being held over the actresses heads, in that its to the point in some cases that some actresses will not even *date* black men for fear of losing money from the stigma in the industry. And people wonder why I stick to amateur stuff.. All of the actresses are starting to look and act more and more like androids... a piece of driftwood has more personality that the majority of actresses in the business.. not only that but the major starts are making girl-girl movies almost exclusively.... There is a major downturn for the business coming, mark my words.

Despite his current musical turn, James is one of the best metal rhythm guitarists in the world. Mustaine is slightly better than he is, though.

Golf is a game of skill and strategy. It doesn't HAVE to be athletic in order for it to be a sport.

That was a prosthetic.

heh, Rant is right, we need to put you in Florida for a year or two... hell even *I* got two shades darker living there.

I spoke my piece on the E and why its not going to go back up to 1997 levels, but it got no-sold. Slamball is fun and its NEW. It took conventional basketball and went in a new direction with it. I hope it succeeds, because I like watching it.

I just hope they put it out on DVD at some point. It was one of the funniest shows of all time, and *extremely* underrated.

With the way that industry is nowadays, its no wonder. I hate that its racially biased as well, but at the end of the day, its people having sex on camera with the majority of women *appearing* to enjoy it. It is what it is, despite Jenna's attempts to legitimize it.

People are tired of Affleck, because he goes out and sleepwalks through movies and gets paid seven or eight figures, and then goes back to his Master, Kevin Smith, and actually shows he can act when playing a loveable loser. I saw Chasing Amy and that is the best acting I have ever seen Affleck do, in playing an insecure twentysomething, which prolly wasn;t anywhere near a stretch for him. J-Lo on the other hand, she can be a passable actress when she feels like it, though she has bought into herself so much its not even funny. I was listening to Howard Stern this morning and he was going on about how she's crazy, because she gets married to guys and divorces them a year later, only to continue the cycle. I have to agree with him. She maybe rather luscious and I would hit it (hard and often), but she is looking for attention and she goes about getting it in the wrong way.

She was given too much, too fast, perverted Vince or no. A nice long stint in OVW where she can get some in-ring seasoning, and she should be fine. Considering all the hype surrounding her, she HAD to be a female Rey in order to justify it, and she was as green as pine tree in summer. I think she's cute, but that isn;t enough to put her over Molly, Trish, Jazz, Ivory and Victoria, who can work a match.

Damn, PR, I know you;re a Clips fan but GOD... Just stop it.

Speak for yourself, kid. I have said in a few posts that I don't really care what the female looks like. If she has "it", that intangible thing about herself that you like being around her, talking to her, getting to know her, dating her, having sex with her, etc., you are not going to give a rat's ass what she looks like. A sense of humor is part of the package, but if she can laugh at herself as easily as she can laugh at others (a somewhat rare trait), that goes a LONG way. But then again, I've had almost 35 years to figure this crap out. You're just starting. No offense meant.

Then his world would be detonated by talking to either Yuna or Sakura for, oh, say... two minutes?

Was the arcade in the same block of stores as a 7-11? Because then I would know what you're talking about. I can't remember if there was or not... All I remember was that it had a Super Basketball game in there, and owning the machine one time.... Did they ever catch the serial killer, by the way? I remember that being a big thing back then, when Charlene and i was walking through Charles Park. I'm going to get back up there one day and just have fun driving everywhere and walking through Chinatown, or what i thought was Chinatown when I took a bus ride from the mall to downtown Vancouver... Ah, I love that city...

don't worry YNA, I'm not impressed with the White Stripes *at all*. Dave Grohl is going to stay right where he is... even though his music is similar to Nirvana, albeit faster and much more intense, I think he's seperated himself from the stigma of being Nirvana's former drummer. I like the Foo Fighters from day one, and I still do. He has a musical insight that is subtle, but no less brilliant.

Bruce has done Wrathchild before, and done it damn well. ::sighs deeply:: Be glad I don;t know where you live redbaron, because i would have to break out the semi-automatic paintball guns and spray your house.... Maiden is playing up here on Wednesday and I don;t have the time off or the money to go.....

Abby is WAY worse than Coquitlam ever is. Bitch. ::sighs:: I was in Coquitlam back in 89... I remember my love interest (who I met online, the bitch... I wonder where she is... prolly still living with her parents). She looked at me with wide eyes and told me thatthe arcade that was there (I wonder if it still is) was a front for drug dealing. I looked at her like she was nuts, as I grew up in the hood... No one in Coquitlam ever bothered me when I was there.... *misses the SkyTrain rides into the city* I like CC because she's intelligent and she gives as good as she gets on here. Her being rather cute only adds to it.

Journey had their niche in the 80s, they just faded away, not flamed out... they're stil touring. It was set for GnR. I am a fan but that doesn't stop me from saying that Axl is a self-absorbed, megalomaniacal prick. They could have even skated by with average albums and they would have still had the world in their hands. Everything was there for them. The timing, the fan support, the album sales, everything. And Axl self-destructed, and the band went with him. That's why they;re trying to start another project with Weiland. They know they had something special, and Axl pissed it away. in that Zakk Wylde interview, one of the last things he said was that ever since he left Ozzy hes done a TON of stuff, and everyone is still waiting for that GnR album.

Kwame hasn't proven shit... its going to take him another season to get over MJ berating him before he actually develops.... I will bet that aside from the money, he wishes he stayed in college after last season

Never played it, and from everything I have been told or read, I ain't gonna... Now that I think about it, the only wrestling game on the PS1 I ever played was the import copy of NJPW 2, which youke's did and you can see the influence on the next generation of games, such as JBI and SYM.

He was right... He said that Axl came up to him some time later and Zakk asked what the deal was, Axl said "I heard you wanted three million and your own tour bus". After taking a sentence or two to refute that statement, Zakk said, "You think I'm some kind of dishrag whore? I wanted six million and *three* tour buses!" Gold.

I've been seeing Darius doing solo stuff for years... he always was the most recognizable one in the band.... I'll withhold judgement about Velvet Revolver until I hear the album... I wasn't very impressed with "Set Me Free" from the Hulk soundtrack, but we shall see... I read some things in the latest Guitar World about it, so... speaking of that, Zakk Wylde was inches away from joining GnR, but it was pulled because some demands that Zakk allegedly made, but he disavowed them.
