That's funny that in theory "the most popular" turtle went last.

So I checked my mail this morning, and there was a letter to someone who used to live at this address like 4 years ago (the time I've lived here). Normally I'd just toss it, but it's some Social Security envelope and I don't want to screw someone who might need the information in the letter out of their benefits. I think the mail carrier noticed the totally different name, since there's a large question mark on the envelope. What should I do with this letter... just cross out my address and put it back in the outbox of my apartment mailbox? Put a sticky pad explaining she doesn't live here anymore? Burn it?

I don't even want to know how much they would charge for even a domestic beer. Soda is like 5 bucks right? So Beers gotta be a kidney or something.

Hercules He and Xena will fight to the death every episode.

I could see that, but with the other team that "woulda-coulda-shoulda" in Bama getting rocked, I think Texas comes out and shows everyone that they truly did deserve to be in the title game and beats The Ohio State by at least two scores.

Which is what I did. I just sharpied over the address, and wrote Ms. B no longer resides here.

I wonder if now the MWC can work their way into the BCS unholy alliance of bowls. I mean top to bottom is the Big East that much better than the Mountain West? Is Syracuse a better bottom feeder than UNLV? Is a middle of the road Rutgers more impressive than a middle of the road BYU or Air Force? Why should a 3 loss Big East team be worthy of an automatic bid because they won their division over the Mountain West champion with a single loss (in theory)? I know it's not going to happen, because the big conferences want their tie in money, but I think if you put Utah, BYU, TCU, and Air Force against Cincy, Rutgers, Pitt and West Virginia in a couple of home-homes the Mountain West teams would have a better record overall against them.

Arizona beat BYU, and the PAC-10 won all of their bowl games, so the PAC-10 jumps ahead of the MWC.

Yeah... 1-Winner of Florida/Oklahoma 2-Texas (if they win) 3- USC 4-Utah If Texas drops it, Utah gets to number 3 with USC taking 2. But I doubt that'll happen. Utah will probably get a couple of token first place votes from a couple of sports writers, but that's it.

Because Hawaii had no business being in a BCS bowl. I know, but seriously, I'm going to take alot of shit tomorrow from people who can't name 4 players on Utah's team but jumped on the bandwagon after the TCU game.

I just realized I'm going to take shit from all the fair weather Utah fans at my work for my undying BYU fandom tomorrow. Damn you Alabama, why couldn't you have raped Utah like Georgia did Hawai'i? Although I love this since the only reason the MWC was created was with the outside possibility of becoming a BSC level conference and keeping some of the more traditional rivalries from the old WAC intact. This game was another step towards that end. 2Gold. Boise isn't in the Mountain West, they are WAC.

Hook and Ladder!

This is kind of how I called this game going down, Utah would jump out on them early, and then Alabama would just start wearing them down. Just like BSU-Oklahoma a few years ago, I think Bama comes back and makes this interesting.

I stopped watching after the safety, because the local Fox affliate keeps split screening the game every five minutes telling me about the UTAH SHOWCASE OMFG @5!!! And it was getting annoying.

Missed him by that much.

Jeff is stupid. He's consistantly done stupid stuff instead of what is smart, it would work since it's Jeff. -
The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button
Maztinho replied to The Niggardly King's topic in Television & Film
Really? I thought it was bland as all hell. Once you get past the gimmick of Benjamin Button's age, it's not that interesting of a story. I walked out of it thinking it was almost exactly like The Notebook for the most part. Flashback storytelling interspersed with modern day happenings with the protagonists set in the South. I can see some nods going out for Pitt, and Cate, but I didn't walk away going, WOW, from it. -
This sums me up pretty well.

Looks like they flipped our picks, since Fred is on my list. I should have posted a pick.
