As a Utahn, and Jazz fan. I hate my people. I hate Kobe more, but still. I hate my people.
-
My theory is, if they beat your team, they must catch fire and die. So for me... go C's.
-
They're from Los Angeles. You don't need another reason. If you do, keep in mind that Kobe is a rapist and Phil Jackson is some sort of fraud that needs great players to win. I would never have considered Shaq a reason to hate this team. Shaq, as far as I can tell, is one of the nicest guys in sports. Kobe is a lot easier to hate. The Big Friendly vs. The Guy Who Wanted Off This Team Nine Months Ago... Then again, I'm a natural Laker hater.

WTF? Is this for real? Andre > Everyone ever, forever. "I'm on the Brute Squad."

I think it's awesome I almost took him in the 3rd and got him in the 6th. I don't think Bernard would have fallen to me here though, so I made a good choice.

Yeah but at the end if you are building a team to fit a certain style and get a coach with a different one that can hurt you in the end voting. Also like Czech said, "My coach can make my guys look better." So a pick after you have a coach can make more sense in his system or if he lacks in someway your coach choice could balance it out.
-
Nah, this is around the time I figured alot of coaches would start going, get your starting 5, a 6th man and then your coach. Then fill in the rest of your team with solid guys that fit your coaches system.

I'm too sexy for my shirt? Too sexy for my shirt, so sexy it hurts? Yeah, that's the one. More importantly, I'd forgotten about The Butthole Surfers.

The NBA really needs to put in a flopping foul. Now. It happens all over the league now, but the Spurs for whatever reason seem to be the biggest culprits (probably coached that way by Pop, as it is a good strategy until called). The second offensive foul on Paul where he slightly touched Bowen, then it looked like someone shot Bowen was sad. Also, even Duncan is in on the act now. I'd steal the idea of yellow cards from soccer, well not _literally_, but assess a technical foul for blatant flopping, in the same vein that you can get carded for diving.

I misread the author at first and thought it said Joel Gertner. It was funnier that way.
-
After I got my coach swiped, I'm not letting anyone I want slip by me. I'm just assuming nobody is going to make it back to me.
-
I dunno, in some contexts it could be pretty awesome. HE NAILS THE CLUTCH JUMPER WITH NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE! WHAT A STEAL WITH NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE! Then again, I was dropped on my head as a child so my opinions are generally askew.

Brazilians have lots of odd names for their kids. They like names that end in -er, or -son alot. Lots of famous American president surnames are common as a name too, Lincoln, Washington, Wilson, Kennedy.
-
I'm surprised the guy I had lined up as a back up pick 2 rounds ago is still available.
-
I second (third?) the rankings idea, it'll balance out what could become a mismash of a couple of teams.

Clutch I have Stockton, Ewing, or King to use. Webber is a good all around talent and looking he was the best PF's left at this point, a need that had to fill. Plus he has a decent mid range jumper, and could work well with Stockton off a pick and roll, or get out and run on the break. Edit: I PM'd naiwf that he's up as well.

Chris Webber PF Career 20/10ish (9.8 RPG) 93-94 Rookie of the Year Solid Defender 5 Time All-Star (97, 2000-2003) Gets you 5 assists and a steal and a block a game

Annie... it's Bill. It's _always_ Danish time.
-
I think he figured out we'd do it for him at this point.
-
Shit. Now I totally want to play GTA4:Eternia
-
I'm partial to Vit X's. That's an explosive offense right there.

That and I need a PF still. Yeah, I forgot Shawn was 6'10" I was thinking he was 6'8" or summat. And Nique/Kemp is a sick, sick forward duo. I also just block out anything he did after he left Seattle, since he went ass up around that point anyways.
