I have a soft spot for Soundgarden, but other than that I echo Coat. STP pretty solid band for the times, although I never really heard alot of people trashing on them either.

The Things That Anger You Thread.
Maztinho replied to Man Who Sold The World's topic in General Chat
I second this. I'm glad this thread got bumped cause I was going to search it out after my interaction with my neighbor this morning. Backstory; First, My apartment complex has assigned parking, one spot per apartment with a handful of visitor spots in the corners of the lot (which isn't big anyways, so walking from a visitor spot isn't a hardship for anyone able to walk 50 yards and not collapse). Second, nobody lives in the apartment to either side of me, nor the one above me. Now, my mom was in town for a cousin's wedding and she came over to use the internet to check her e-mails and whatnot because my grandparents where she was staying have no access, I told her of the assigned parking, but told her to park in the spot directly to the right of my car since nobody lives in that apartment so it's "free game" I also told her that sometimes one of the other people parks their second car in the spot and if that was the case to park two spots to either the right or the left of my car which are assigned to the apartment on either side of me. She parked directly to the right of me, and left around 9:30 pm to head back to my grandparents. When I head out to my car this morning the girl who parks her second car in the spot to the right of me was pulling out, but she stopped and rolled down her window. Girl: Do you know the owner of a Silver Honda? (Mom's car) Me: Yeah, it was my mom, she was visiting from out of town. Girl: My husband and I are going to call Leavitt (The land company in charge of the apartments) and complain. She was parked in our spot. Me: She parked in C10, which is empty. It's not your spot. Girl: Well we use it. Me: That's fine, but you have no claim to it. It's a free spot, if anything you are violating the rules by parking a second car in the lot since the lease says second vehicles should be parked on the street. Girl: We are still going to complain. Me: Go ahead, my mom did nothing wrong, and you have no claim. Then she sped off, funny thing is the woman in charge of our complex came in shopping at my job and I gave her a heads up about it and she just laughed and told me that those two are always complaining about ticky tacky shit and not to worry. Still I was pissed like all day about it. Man, I do sound like an old man. Damn you kids, stay off my lawn. -
As for not knowing who would be good parents here's a little story. I knew two twin sisters in high school, one was the wild child, the other did everything "right", the Wild one did drugs, pre-marital sex, the whole cliche rebel against the parents thing, yet managed to graduate with the rest of us. Come the ten year reunion, I guess the wildone got pregnant soon after graduation went to rehab and straighten her shit out, and her kid was just running around playing and was really polite to everyone. While the good girls kids ran around knocking over the trash cans, and just causing a ruckus while their mom just stared blankly and hopelessly until her sister stepped in and took control of them. Now the Good Girl would have passed Annie's exam, but when it came down to it she didn't have the skills to be a competent mother. (Side note GG popped 4 kids out in like 6 years once she got married so I think she just got overwhelmed and started shutting down.)

I'd freak out for a Lakers-Celtics match up purely based on the fact that I discovered the NBA while that rivalry had some legs in the 80's. And I'd root for the C's cause I despise the Lakers.

Aye, what really sucks is that we didn't have a second half collapse like we had been having either.

I dunno about Manga, but I just stumbled across the Pumpkin Scissors Anime that is warbased and is pretty cool.

Damn it Luke-O I had to force will power not to watch that gif over and over last night and now it's your freakin' AV. I just spit soda on my monitor. WHAAAAAAAA flying girl. Also bring a camera crew if a fight does go down, TSM needs this recorded for generations to come.
-
Thanks. I couldn't breathe for three minutes laughing so hard at that.
-
The best part was the mom cracking up, then getting pissed at the kid for making her crack up. Since this was serious business. So, did Kevin break up with her on MySpace or what? She went from pissed to breaking down crying pretty fast when she hit the computer.

Yeah, but that would take away the "mysterious" aura they've been trying to build around this move. Is it any less effective to give the move a name and still have it completely destroy people? As long as it's over as a finisher and seen as a definitive end to the match there's no mysterious aura that needs to be sold. If anything having it be nameless and having Cole scream out "THAT SUBMISSION MOVE!" tarnishes any mystery or suspense that the Gogo has.

I will agree that the commentary was retarded, but half the time I'm doing other stuff and not listening to the commentary anyways so I just follow the story in ring which is where I was coming from. I note that bps was talking to Truth in his above post as well. Just clarifying my stance.
-
Well the story was that Festus was fighting to the rope and then blacked out to the GOGO. Maybe he doesn't know how to submit, but knows how to prolong the match. More than likely he's not going to do anything that will cause him to lose, but has a grasp of ring awareness/the rules. It's a simple NEVA SURRENDAH! precident, he's not Kamala who had to be told to roll people over and can't pin them if they are on their stomach. He's just a Pavlovian experiment. Side note, they really need to give the Gogo a gimmicked name. "THAT SUBMISSION MOVE!" sucks as a call.

Post here if you dislike Will Ferrell...
Maztinho replied to Lt. Al Giardello's topic in Television & Film
I like Will Ferrell, but his act is getting a little thin. I think he just needs to step away for a year or two and then come back, wasn't there a thread about Pitch a Will Ferrell movie here? And it all boiled down to chauvanistic ______ learns a lesson in life? Stranger Than Fiction was _awesome_, and it shows that I think his style humor is more effective when it's subdued, or only has flashes of over the top antics, like when he's trying to get the voice to talk after he learns of his imminent demise. As for comics I don't get why they are considered hilariously funny, Dave Chappelle is at the top of the list. I can't remember anything he's ever done that made me laugh. Ever. -
Wait what? And then Micheal just goes on. I felt awkward watching it too, Angela smashing her cone on Andy's car is such a bitch move. WHORE!
-
Actually Chris I think we just put higher level CPU players in to try and win and get into the play offs. I'm pretty sure you are still on the team.
-
On the plus side since we got a first of the year reset we have Mole's This drunk better win some playoff games sig. It's so classic in hindsight.

Same way I came in, bald, naked, screaming with blood on my face.

I see that Taiga Star has been placed in the gulag.

At least EHME is getting back into his unrated version. This thread is pretty awesome though. Just a side note with all the weird sex laws in Utah, I'm sure Milky, Annie and Tiaga would be... illegal. Not for what they are doing, just for who they are. -
Did ya see me mashing faces? I ran through their Safety and their lineman! And then we lost. In OT. Was the sub a glitch? Or was Geru just toasted from throwing the ball that much? He was hucking skin alot this game compared to others.

WATCH THE AMAZING KONG BITE THE HEAD OFF THIS CHICKEN!

Also Hot Rod, pretty funny. How can you not love a premise of a guy wanting to get his father-in-law well so he can kick his ass? Spoiler tagged just because I'm anal like that.

Although my childhood probably wasn't that cool, remaking Bill and Ted's would be sodomizing it with a barbed wire baseball bat as it's _still_ in my Top Five Favorite movies, it was my favorite forever.

Comments which don't warrant a thread.

I just started watching Clannad...

What about... John Cena? Cena's from the NorthEast and would never have had a reason to live in Atlanta. Nice try though, here's a consolation cookie.
