So the Network gets pissed when the WWE tries and run with a more adult content storyline with Hassan/Taker and then get pissed when they start to cater to children again because they got neutered... Yeah! Good job gang. Also I watch CW all the time in the middle of the afternoon, it's got a good block of Reba and What I Like About you reruns. I like those two shows. The evening stuff is all soap operaish drivel though. It's basically becoming Oxygen Lite.

I don't see how the WWE is thinking this is going to make them money. Like Marv pointed out they'll have to break record sales just to break even. It doesn't look like a sound business decision, at least it appears to be too much risk versus very little reward. Hell drudging up Malone versus Rodman II probably could have gotten as many buyrates that Floyd is going to produce.

He's more intelligible in "his prime" than he is there where he's getting all emotional. He has this "Shoot Style" promo voice that you saw there, but he was a crazy foreigner gimmick so pretty much he could go. USA SUCKS! and get a reaction in the 80's.

Those people have no eyes. The premise that Angle uses a leg submission while never working the leg is... contrarian to "technical" wrestling. WWE-speak technical = uses a submission finisher. I'd mark out like a little bitch if somehow Sting was the opponent. Not happening, but I'd mark out so hard. Like I was 6 years old again hard.

But wrestling standard is if you intentionally hit the referee it's a DQ. The only time this is ignored is if it's a special guest referee that isn't going to allow the heel to DQ himself to retain. Most of the time pushing the ref is sort of a blurred area, but actually striking with a fist or a slap is DQ'able.

MVP feud has been ABOUT the US Title, and thats how it should end. To hot shot this midcard feud into the main event feud makes no sense whatsoever. Do I suck at debating more than you? Its never the primary focus, nor is it booked on the same level as the WWE title, since its been on Raw. I never claimed or implied that Hardy/MVP should headline wrestlemania, I said I would like too see that. I'm fully aware that they've been booking towards Taker/Edge since Survivore series, I understand (and encouraged) them to go that route. I simply said that Hardy/MVP would be cool to me, I basically said it because it would be a cool way for Matt to get revenge on his 2 most hated foes in the next 2 months, back to back. All I did is was fantasy book a storyline for mania, like a lot of people in this forum have done, I never tried to pass it off as a great idea. It's a rare thing in WWE-Land that a secondary title actually has people caring about it, so you'd book it as of no importance while simultaneously devaluing the World title at the same time, since both MVP and Matt Hardy would be hotshotted to the title picture and they aren't ready to be there. The short answer is that you need money and need to realize you won't make any profit for quite a long time. So hopefully you'll have a lot of money to spend and won't think you'll make a lot off the gate, because you won't. Expect to lose money. If you woud like to own your promotion, you would be the promoter. Meaning you'd be the money guy...unless you have a friend who has deep pockets who'd like to volunteer his pockets to help fund your promotion, but good luck with that. Now if your going to be a promoter, don't be the booker, just be the promoter. Meaning don't worry about storylines, just worry about getting the ring to the building, finding a venue to run out of, concessions, and money to pay the wrestlers and the Refs, and finding people to help put the ring together, running concession and take in the geate money. Those are the things you should worry about being the promoter. Now I say don't be a promoter/booker because it's seriously is to much work. Take a wrestler or two or three and make them the booker(s) and let them worry about booking wrestlers and writing out your storylines. Just don't let them go overboard with booking wrestlers/Refs. Also truth be told, wrestlers listen and take bookers who are wrestlers more seriously. I guess it's a respect kind of thing, but that's what I've seen since I got in the buisness a few years ago.
