I'm not hating on him. I remember Portland drafting him and sending him to Denver in a draft day swap. That is literally the last thing I remember hearing about him. I was just shocked to hear that he scored 41 points. It's completely out of nowhere. Nah, Utah always has to give someone a career night at least once every couple of years or the world implodes. They are the best team in the last decade most likely to get 50 dropped on them, usually from a wingman since they can never seem to cover good shooters.

I think they wouldn't have gotten back to the Finals even without trading him, you had the Rockets two years and then the Utah team just came together those following years, and I don't think Phoenix had the firepower even with Thunder Dan to get past them. Madison didn't play today and Plax has been injured all season so those injuries aren't really that significant since they had that same situation going into today's game which they won against a team that dominated them twice before. The Ross injury is the worst thing that happened today. The weather's likely to suck which is the main reason I don't see the Giants winning, but unlike the Seahawks they CAN run the ball. If it's a smashmouth, sloppy field type of game that should pay dividends as they finally have a legit two back system and Eli isn't playing like the old Eli. If anything I think Favre is more likely to shit the bed than Eli is because he's that close to making it back to the big game. I could EASILY see him throwing 2 or more picks by trying to do too much. Isn't that what everyone thought when the Pack went down 14 against Seattle though? That Favre would gunsling them out of it? He showed veteran leadership and got them back into the game with some heady play. I'll grant that if it's sloppy that ups the Giant's chances, but I don't see Favre going apeshit crazy and tossing tons of picks unless the Giants build a BIG BIG lead. If anything, I see a possible "magic comeback to get the Pack to the Superbowl" situation playing out with the Giants giving Brett a chance to win it in the end off an Eli mistake.

I found this _way_ too funny. 47- Your roommate has a huge ass zit in between his shoulder blades that he can't get, and it's really bothering him, so he complains about it constantly, he has no girlfriend to pop it for him and he keeps bugging you to do it for him. You refuse over and over, two days go by and one of your other roommates relents to pop this monstrous thing growing betwixt the shoulders. You are in your room, and you hear, "AGGGHHHH GROSS!" So you rush into the common room to find the zit back with a sense of relief on his face, and the popper with zit-splooge all over his glasses and black shirt. You say, "Dude his back came on you," and you all share an awkward silence until you start laughing hysterically.

Came home from work all jazzed about watching this game even if it was only the second half. LSU goes up 31-10 and I went to find something else to do. The question is does Tressel start getting a choker moniker after this game? He gets them to the big shot and loses in consecutive years and neither game is even close.
