I think Stephanie McMahon saying Russo's,(or anybody else's, for that matter), idea's wouldn't work is laughable given some of the horrible shit she's been responsible for the past several years. She may have very well been right about Russo, but I don't think she's in a position to judge whether he was still a competent writer or not.

Didn't hear about that one. Multiple stories I've heard,(including from Russo himself in a shoot interview which another poster provided a link to a couple of posts up), is that Undertaker and HHH opposed him from joining the creative team for their own personal reasons, so he was labled as a creative consultant.(In the case of HHH, especially at that point in time, probably didn't want Russo mainly because of Russo's knack for giving everyone on the card something to do, which would take away from having his face all over Raw.)

Yeah. Ironically, wasn't it right around the time Foley's contract expired with The WWE?

I wonder if, win or lose at W.M., JBL retires and immediatley goes back to his old job as color man on SD?

I saw it coming a mile away, but Vince's "toughman stance" up on the ramp had me laughing I cracked up at that also. He looked like a real life action figure standing like that.

According to prowrestling.net, there is also an 18 divas tag team match for tonight. Apparently Kelly Kelly is the only diva listed so far, though.

I'm betting that construction project that caused that store to go out of business wasn't all that neccessary, either.

I thought the storyline was that if Dreamer couldn't win The ECW Title by June 4-5,(when his contract was up), he would retire? I guess they dropped that.

Man, remember when Festus had that competitive match with The UT around this time last year, and a lot of people thought he was in line for a big singles push?

I think this is hilarious given how this past week's Raw ended.

Looks like the all divas special that was supposed to happen on tomorrow's ECW show has been scrapped or delayed. WWE.com is advertising all male talent for Tuesday's program.

Being a Pitt fan is nerveracking. I could see this team go all the way, or lose in the sweet 16 to Xavier. Either outcome wouldn't surprise me.

Maybe they'll do what they did when Raw broadcasted it's 800th episode last fall; I.E.-Just announce it is the 500th episode of SD, but then have the actual celebration ep a month and a half later. Hell, it wouldn't surprise me to see them have the 500th episode celebration of Smackdown on Raw.

Maybe I expected too much going in, but I was disappointed by this show seeing as it was The 500th ep of SD. I just thought they would've had more planned than what they did. Doesn't look like a whole lot of people here watched.(Or they did, but just didn't post for whatever reasons.)
