  1. Maybe Bierko will end up offing Logan?
  2. Have you ever done this or been close to doing it? If so, were you fired? Discuss.
  3. That looks like it was outside a courtroom somewhere. Wasn't too smart of the puncher, though. Commiting a crime right in front of a camera.
  4. I wonder what will happen when Bierko wakes up in CTU? I figure they kept him alive for some reason.
  5. Good. Wasn't meant to be.
  6. The edge of sanity? yes!
  7. I swear every week you ask one dumb question to the next. Does this madness ever fucking end? If It's so dumb, why are you wasting your valuble freetime responding to it then? Last time I checked this was general chat, not hardcore discussion. Go troll over there.
  8. I mean i know you can get arrested if you skip out on on J.D. without an approved reason, but does anyone actually know of and/or heard of anyone going to jail for this? It seems to me you would be more likely to be fined than jailed, but what do i know? BTW, I'm not asking because I plan on skipping out or anything; I actually got called for J.D. a little over a month ago, (didn't have to serve on an actual jury, though), so i can't be called again for at least 3 more years. There seemed to be a fair amount of people who never showed up that day, so i was just naturally curious. Anyone?
  9. My friend is having problems with someone who keeps prank calling her cell phone with a cell phone of their own. She knows it's a cell phone because of the number, and also because when she calls the number it leaves a "this person has a voice mailbox that has not been set up yet." She feels that going to the cops and giving them this person's cell number would be useless in trying to determine this person's identity because of the fact it is a cell phone and not a land line. I don't see any other option for her than to get her number changed, unless their is some other way i'm not seeing in which the cops can figure out whoever is behind this. Anybody have any ideas?

    Union

My place of employment currently does not have a union, although we may get one by later this summer. While i have heard some good things about union's, i've also heard my share of bad things as well. I was wondering if anybody here would be willing to share their opinion of unions' through personal experience or otherwise. Thanks!
  11. When I was in high school back in the day, our local Eat n Park was the place to go after football games. It got so bad with the dining and ditching that E@P had to hire 2 security guards to man the exit doors to make sure that people paid their bill before leaving. However, I still believe some people got away without paying, as the security guards that they sent there looked like they were plucked from a retirement home somewhere.
  12. A friend and i dined and ditched only 1 time, and it was by pure accident. We were so wrapped up in whatever it was we were talking about, we simply got up and walked out of Elby's Big Boy without ever realizing that we didn't pay. It wasn't until we were halfway home that it hit me. That being said, we both took the low road and escaped with a free meal. I then felt kind of bad when i was later told that in some resturant's they actually charge the meal on the waitress or waiter that was serving the customers who didn't pay. I never worked in a resturant/food service type place before, so i don't know how true this is. Anyone happen to know? Anyways, has anybody ever tried the dine and ditch? If so, were you successful? Discuss.
  13. That's fuckin hilarious. If you have more, I'd love to hear them.
  14. Basically. Vince will find a way to justify/rationalize this somehow, sort of like how he manages to justify still having his daughter as head of creative despite what she has done ,(or hasn't done), in the past 5 1/2 years.
  15. I'm kind of surprised this wasn't pimped by WWE on Raw or Smackdown this week at all. I normally would think that Hogan and The WWE were on the outs again, but Hogan Is inducting Mean Gene in The WWE Hall Of Fame W.M. weekend. Weird.
  16. Thanks Slayer! Much appreciated!
  17. Does anybody happen to know the lowest seed to win The NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament (Div.1) since it was expanded to include 64 teams? I haven't been a fan all that long, but i seem to remember Arizona (1997), and Syracuse (2003), were 4 or 5 seeds when they won the whole thing. But I don't know if that would be the record. Anyone know for sure? Thanks!
  18. I know this kind of thing has probably happened to all of us at some point, and for most It Is beyond annoying. What I want to know Is how some people here handle these types of special assholes who feel the need to endlessly talk at a movie theater? I myself don't mind If people talk through the coming attactions, but once the feature presentation starts, shut up! People who I've talked to before on this subject seemed to give out serveral answers. Some of them included: -Ignore them and try to focus on the movie. With the surround sound now a days, it practically drowns them out. -Go and confront the people who are talking and tell them to shut up. (Of course this may not be the best course of action, as it may lead to a verbal/physical altercation.) -Report it to a theater manager/usher/security guard -Ask The Theater Manager for a refund and return at another time. Do any of you fall into these categories? If not, how do you handle It when this particular situation happens?
  19. Most of it, anyway.
  20. I was just wondering If anybody here was ever "fortunate" enough to attend a taping of either show? I was curious how an actual fan(s) managed to keep their sanity among the bevy of Barry Horowitz vs The Gambler type matches as well as having to sit with a bunch of tourists. I figured there may be more the one funny story out there.
  21. I told my friend this week that the police were not legally obligated to provide protection for him. He Is now actually thinking of hiring a personal security guard to watch his house at night. However, he Is not sure he can do that. Does anybody here know If a security guard and patrol service co. would lend out a guard or two to watch someone's personal property? Also, does anyone know what they may wind up costing him If he ends up going that route? As usual, even if you don't know, speculation is welcome. thanks.
  22. You didn't like Mama Harper?!? She made Shelton Benjamin's mom look like a pussy!!
  23. I can only hope!
  24. Damn, Czech, you have more time on your hands than I do. I guess I should be very flattered that someone cared enough to look up all my past postings. However, If my topics disinterest, bore, or scare you so much, why do you still bother to read and give your thoughts on them every time I post one of my "ridiculous" threads?
  25. It might as well be Podunck, Arkansas. He lives In Delmont, PA, and I live in an even smaller town named New Alexandria, PA.(A whopping 15 minute time distance from each other.) Both are located about 30-35 miles east of Pittsburgh. (Go Steelers!) The co-worker did bring up about how he should get protection overnight due to the fact that Delmont is a small town with little or no criminal activity, unlike N.Y., L.A., or even The'Burgh. I told him I once again agree with what he was saying, but that fact alone may work against him. A lot of small towns have either a skeleton crew working the graveyard shift or no mid. shift at all. I could see the Delmont Police telling him that they'd keep an eye out for him, but they couldn't afford to post an officer or two outside his house all night on a threat that may never happen. He insisted that was The Delmont Police Dept.'s problem. I shall see shortly how this thing plays out.
