Jays came sooooo close to tying the game in the 8th. Glaus almost hit a fly ball in the exactly right place for Ordonez to drop it and let Vernon Wells score, but he was stranded at third with the score 10-9. Todd Jones will probably come in to pitch the 9th, though, so there's still hope.

Great finish on Long Island, as the Rangers and Islanders played a furious OT to get to a shootout. The crowd is very pro-Rangers. Kudos to the music guy in Nassau Coliseum who played "Let's Get Rocked" by Def Leppard, which I haven't heard in 15 years.

I just got MLB Extra Innings, and I'm trying to follow six games at once. It's almost too much. I can't even imagine if I was trying to follow any of the five games on NHL Centre Ice or the four games on NBA League Pass.

I wouldn't have known about it if not for FJM, but John Kruk disagreeing with Ozzie pulling Jose Contreras after giving up seven runs on eight hits in one plus innings because "it's early and he needs to get his work in" was pretty ridiculous.

It's going to be a looooooooong season for the Nationals.
