There's not much of a change. Instead of just the Cup winner moving to the bottom of the draft order regardless of regular season record, all four semifinalists will get moved to the bottom. The Cup winner will draft 30th, the other finalist will draft 29th, and the two semifinalists will draft 27th and 28th depending on record.

This is irrelevant to anyone not watching in Canada, but I hate the fact that Sportsnet (4 regional networks, often showing different games) lost the rights to the tournament to The Score (one national network, usually the same game as CBS, and an annoying ticker running on the bottom of the screen). Now I have to rely on MMOD for other games, and it's not nearly as good.

Who on earth decided James Brown would be one of the four lead play-by-play guys? That's going to turn out to be one of the poorer decisions of our time.

I'm glad I switched from Marquette to Michigan State at the last minute.

I pulled this out of an article swiped from another site. It's not meant to prove you wrong, but open some discussion, especially in regards to Hughes. If his talent is as good as advertised, it might not do him any good to waste good years in the minors. I agree with this to a point, but Hughes is still only 20 years old. Plus, the Yankees have a lot of guys they're committed to in the rotation before Hughes. I think a half-season or so as an ace in AAA would do him better than pitching at the end of the rotation or in long relief with the big club, especially if he's struggling somewhat in spring training, as the article mentioned.

Linebrink to Boston as the closer would be awesome for me in the mixed roto league.

If there a good side to it, it's that the last three guys were all fairly old, and didn't die from drugs and shit.

Watching the Sabres' mini-collapse, I am constantly reminded of the fact that Ottawa could be within a point or two of the division lead right now had they managed to hold onto all those third-period leads they had in the past two weeks. Nice comeback against the Rangers, though, even if I couldn't watch it thanks to the amazingness that is the NHL on PPV.
