70% cheese and 30% shit means you're still getting a mouthful of shit.

The best burger in town can be found at the Burger Bar in Mandalay Bay. Penn & Teller are great, I've seen them twice. The Sunday breakfast buffet at Paris is awesome, but get there before 10 to avoid paying the more expensive price. Play some poker at Mirage or Bellagio. And avoid any blackjack tables where they pay 6-5 for a blackjack. I was wondering when the semi-annual Vegas thread was going to show up.

Next week should be fun. We find out how the goat got into Ted's bathroom on his 30th birthday.

Did they really need a day devoted to the most useless trophy in all of sports?

The Things That Anger You Thread.

Not to mention the actual headache of severe whiplash. It's been nearly two years, and I still don't get your desire to be violently rear-ended on the expressway. -
That's some Masters hangover Trevor Immelman is working on. He just made the turn in 41 in the first round of the Nelson. That's DFL so far.

Good call. Forgot about the Southern Justice label. I had no idea that they used it when they were in WCW. Come to think of it, I may have my facts mixed up with this. I think Southern Justice were in WWE, not WCW. But anyway, the name still stands. Right, they were Jeff Jarrett's hired muscle during JJ's second WWF stint. They weren't around long, were they? I remember them interfering during a Nation-DX match a few weeks before Summerslam; That was the first I'd seen them, and the only other time I remember them, and this is pretty vaguely (if it's even correct), was at Breakdown or Judgement Day. It was at Breakdown. Canterbury aggravated his neck/back injury shortly after this, had surgery and eventually retired.

Boy, am I glad I'm not in the West Division. Someone there is going to probably going to have the third-best record in the league and still miss the playoffs. The rest of us SUUUUUUUCK.

No, the Braves at least won a championship. And they got to the World Series a bunch of times. The Sharks aren't even on that level yet. Maybe the late-80s Cleveland Cavaliers.

No, they've got a point. Losing weight is pretty much based on your nutrition -- if you take in as many calories as you burn off, you won't lose weight, even if you're running (or whatever) twice a day every day. At the same time, you can be big and still be in good (or even great) cardiovascular shape. But you will get faster as you lose more weight, because your legs won't have as much of a load to carry.

Pacman Jones is officially a Cowboy. Titans get a fourth rounder back.

He was a Yankee fan, though.

Two reasons: 1) He signed an agreement with the previous owner that he'd make a good faith effort to keep the team in Seattle, and it's since been proven that he had absolutely no intention of doing so. 2) He and David Stern are BFFs, which makes the whole ordeal look more than a little bit dodgy.

I have one starting position player batting over .250 right now. I just had two pitchers combine on a one-hitter...and lose 1-0. But I'm still tied for the division lead. Damned if I can figure that one out.

Parker vs. Shaq in a collision is a lot like car vs. semi. Ouch.
-
Maybe, but it's hard to say, since Nash became MVP-calibre in part due to the Suns' system.
-
But Crosby and New York are still in the playoffs, and guaranteed to go to the next round. Wow, that's a fantastic observation!
-
Crosby's still alive, and so are the Rangers, so they might still pay it a little attention.
-
Well, that sucked.
-
If the Red Wings win, five players will tie him (Lidstrom, Holmstrom, Maltby, Draper and McCarty). From what I can tell, I think Mathieu Dandenault is the only other guy with a chance at a fourth.

Yes, but don't underestimate the power of a one-team town. Look how much the Wasatch Front loves its Jazz. This doesn't mean that this move isn't completely absurd, however. Is this the first relocation since the Montreal Expos? I'm still sore about that one. Yeah. The last one before that was, ironically enough, the Hornets.
