I hate this because I want to order JD now just for the sake of supporting Eddie keeping his place, but then again I shouldn't order the PPV to show WWE that "Hey, I won't put up with this shit (Bradshaw getting a title shot)."

Well, you can look at it two ways: 1.) They just decided to be cruel fucks one day and have some fun and are now trying to blame higher-ups to save their asses since they got busted. Or 2.)
