I probably won't even be watching it now and I'm sure I won't be the only one.

Sorry if this has been posted already: Credit: PWTorch.Com Well, I guess that's both a good and bad thing to balance out the nostalgia.

Well, look at Davey Boy Smith. Him and The Dynamite Kid were the British Bulldogs. Once DK couldn't go anymore, DBS took the name for himself.

I was and still am a huge LOD fan, but seriously even I agree there was nothing more to be done with him.

What made it fun last year IIRC is that none of the matches were announced, you had to order it or go somewhere to watch it to see what happened, but now its nothing more than just another plain old WWE PPV with all the matches being annouced ahead of time with a stupid Invasion re-hash. Also you had guys against each other who you know actually had ECW history. Seriously, why the fuck is Angle in ECW? That makes no fucking sense whatsoever! Angle / Orton is fine for GAB or SummerSlam, but not fucking ECW! Oh yeah, as much I want to RVD to win, and of course he will unless the WWE booking team is THAT retarded, I know for a fact he's getting fucked out of the title somehow next Monday night.

Well, there's one official reason for no Nightcrawler, and one reason, which will remain unsaid. The first reason is, the creative team felt that there were too many new mutants to introduce in the film, and Nightcrawler was barely in their working draft anyway, so he was cut. Unoffical reason; Alan Cumming, the actor, HATED the makeup process and complained every chance he got. Whenever interviewed about X-men, he'd mention the makeup and what a pain in the ass it was and how he hoped Nightcrawler would fall into a vat of bleach the opening scene in the film. Also, he hated working with Bryan Singer. Rather than deal with that headache, they decided not to force him back in (as he was contracted to) for very little screentime. That's the reasoning behind no Nightcrawler. In the X-Men: The Last Stand video game (its takes place between X2 and X3) once you beat the game,

I'm assuming on the original ECW VHS / DVDs to anybody who owns them, all the music is dubbed over WWE-style?

According to Silver Vision, when ONS II comes out on DVD next month, Barely Legal 97 will be included on a 2nd disc!

Its been debated that Moolah had actually lost and regained the title three times during her "legendary" 30 year title span before ultimately dropping it to Sensational Sherri. Edit: So I watched Spring Stampede 1999, pretty good PPV actually from WCW from that time period, can you believe that? Anyway, so I'm watching the main event. Hogan gets carried out due to his knee injury suffered in the match, Ric Flair has Sting trapped in the Figure Four, Savage the guest referee then nails Flair with the Flying Elbowdrop out of nowhere to my surprise (I never seen the match) and helps Page win his first world title! Why did Savage turn on Flair? Was this ever followed up on? Did they feud again?

RVD and Orton deserve the world title. Cena is a better champion than Batista.

Reissue of D-X DVD (with extra matches)
Lil' Bitch replied to pochorenella's topic in The WWE Folder
IIRC I think the match is an extra on the Monday Night War DVD. -
Credit: Yahoo.com I love it when reporters are wrong. Anyway, I'm a little mixed on this. I loved Halloween 1 & 2 and H20 was passable. The rest sucked and I've liked Zombie's work so far so I think we might get something good out of this.

Heels win by cheating, but not all the time where once in a blue moon a heel will win clean for shock value. Lets list matches where this has happened. Matches get disqualified though if the people who won: A.) Used a foreign object before the pinfall [low-blows included] B.) Had somebody interfere whether it was physical or just for distraction purposes C.) Can't list a gimmick match, it has to be a regular one SummerSlam 2004 - Randy Orton Vs. Chris Benoit Royal Rumble 2005 - Randy Orton Vs. HHH

The Worst Wrestling Show of All-Time
Lil' Bitch replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in General Wrestling
You know I always did wonder why both UT / Yoko matches were casket matches. It kind of came out of the blue since they didn't have a regular singles match to start off with. I have to throw in any WCW PPV where the world title wasn't even being fucking defended. Mostly, Hogan is to blame for that since he was the champion, but they did a few times with Goldberg too. Now, I'm not saying ALL the PPVs they had without it were bad, I'm sure there were a few decent ones that were able to pull through, but no world title match severely hurts the PPV so there's another reason why WCW ended up getting their ass kicked by WWE. Say what you want about WWE and their lame PPVs, but I'm glad they don't pull this shit off. -
My favourite Benoit WWF matches as inspired by Benoit vs Finlay
Lil' Bitch replied to a topic in General Wrestling
Benoit / Lesnar is one of the greatest Benoit matches of all time. Shame on WWE for not making this the Wrestlemania main event and fo rnot putting the match on DVD! I'm sorry, WP, I have to disagree with you here. The PPV matches were far better. 1.) Bad Blood - Had a fantastic build-up as Benoit was the reason why the shitty Kane - Lita angle happened (he wanted to have a family to fit into society), it was a bad angle, but the reasoning was great and made sense and the build-up video was tremendous. So Kane costs Benoit and Edge the tag titles earlier in the PPV, attacking an already exhauseted Benoit to soften him up so things aren't looking good for the Canadian hero. Having to work double duty, a tired Benoit is in for the fight of his life trying to fight off the still-fresh power hungry monster from getting the gold and hits him with everything he's got, but NOOOOOOOO! Kane won't have any of it. He is HELL BENT on becoming the world champion once again, 6 years after he last won it, and defies all of Benoit's offense. Sharpshooter? No, Kane gets out. Crossface? No, Kane refuses and still gets out. Benoit keeps going for either of his finishers, but to no avail. So Benoit in a fit of desperation / working smart to hit his opponent with something unexpected, either way you want to look at it, he nails IIRC an Oklahoma Roll to get the win. Truly one of Kane's best matches EVER. Much better than the RAW rematch where the cards were stacked against Benoit and wounded up making Kane look like a fucking idiot. 2.) SummerSlam - This was a truly great match, the only thing I could bitch about it was the HUGE lack of build-up for it. I mean for the main event of fucking SummerSlam, a world title match that only had 2 weeks of anything, it was a piss poor job (also another reason due was more attention being brought to fucking Eugene - HHH crap), but tha's okay because Benoit and Orton stole the show. This is a truly underrated match as it was smooth from start to finish. They hit each other with everything they had and it took Orton to defeat the veteran by countering his counter!!! It put Randy over huge by showing people that yes, he can defeat legends single handledly. Another reason why I prefer this match is because I'm big on clean finishers plus the show of sportsmanship was a nice touch. The following night was usual heel crap with the result being Benoit tossed away like yesterday's garbage and I hate that. -
other site: completewwf.com - this is the one that has all the PPV posters prowrestlinghistory.com - has results from almost every fed worldwide

Oh come on, that was so bad it was good. Yeah, but him dropping "The King of The World" for it was lame. KOTW was one of the best nicknames ever. Other bests: The Whole Fucking Show The Heartbreak Kid The King of Kings The Legend Killer

Re: Robocop Trilogy What's the difference with the Criterion Collection and the cheap version? I think I'm the only guy who actually liked Alexander, but then again I'll admit I've never seen the theatrical version.
