Hey guys, just got back from the show. Had a great time. I was also able to get with basically the whole roster and I didn't have a problem with anybody, except Edge who blew me off because I was wearing a Y2J shirt. Then I went over the Best Buy right afterwards and meet RVD and Maria. It was a long line, but it worked out afterall. I asked RVD, whose ass he'd rather kick to finally win the world title between Cena and Mysterio. His response:

So I read the new Smackdown magazine (featuring Benoit on the cover) going over the Benoit article about what his favorite matches are and why and the writer fucked it up TWICE. At GAB 98, they said Booker T went onto win the U.S. Championship later that night. At NWO this year, they said that Benoit / Booker match was the final match in the 2nd Best of 7 Series, in which Benoit won. Just figured I'd comment a WTF here.

Basically, according to WCW, having a part of your body underneath is just as good as actually grabbing / touching the rope. AA didn't see Sid's leg under the rope when he tapped out. The decision was reversed the following night on Nitro by Anderson after he reviewed the footage. Basically, they did this because they probably knew Benoit was going to leave WCW anyway.

I also want to add in that I really enjoyed Mysterio / Layfield from No Mercy last year so I'm hoping the title match between the two will be similar to what they did before. And it will be nothing, but complete and utter bullshit if JBl wins the belt by having to cheat to defeat Rey. But this is the WWE so I'm expecting it to happen.

1.) How did the Hogan / Piper feud begin and what was the blow-off (before JD 2003 )? Also how did Piper turn face? 2.) I heard Randy Savage was one of the greatest heels ever, but I never got to see any of his 80s work so I'm wondering what he did do that was so special? And how did he turn face? 3.) I noticed a lot of Bad News Brown matches ended in DQs or draws, but I was watching the Best of the WWF Vol. 20 and he jobbed to Beefcake 123 clean on the mat. Any other times he lost by pinfall? It seems like such a rare thing since he seemed to be heavily protected. 4.) Finally, Wrestlemania 8 ended in a DQ between Hogan and Sid and apparantly that was always the plan once Hogan / Flair was scrapped. Was Vince really that keen on protecting Sid, even at the biggest event of the year especially for "Hogan's final match"?

I liked the part where

You know I didn't think Bad Blood 04 was that bad. I mean it fucking sucked the HIAC went so ridiculously long along with HHH winning to put icing on the shit cake, but I thought Orton / Benjamin was a pretty solid match along with Benoit giving Kane the best match (if not best, its definitely up there IMO) of The Red Machine's career so it wasn't a total letdown for a show. Certainly miles better than the show from the previous year.

Angle / Henry was fucking HORRIBLE at the Rumble so I'm not expecting anything different here. I'm mainly interested in the tag title match.

I think the idea of Cena being a failure stems from the notion that your top face shouldn't be getting booed out of the building. Exactly.
