  1. I hate the Yankees
  2. Nothing is more frustrating than knowing your team is facing the Sharks at San Jose. It's 2-0 6 minutes in.
  3. I guess it's because I'm from New York, and root for a team that spends a little bit of money, but I've never felt sorry for these small market teams. If a team has the ability and wants to spend the money, there should be nothing standing in their way to prevent that
  4. They're free agents, you should be_able_to_sign_anyone_you_want_with_no_consequences.
  5. They shouldn't take away draft picks to begin with. That's stupid.
  6. The player's salary is the average of the top 5 in that position.
  7. Has the larvae group been done away with?
  8. I don't like the idea of revenue sharing, unless the owners are required to spend it on improving their team. The franchise tag is unfair to players
  9. They have the money, and are willing to spend it. It's absolutely justified. Good for them.
  10. I meant on this board. Apparently Variety ripped him a new one. I don't read reviews until I see the movie
  11. Tom P. Baxter, the visionary?
  12. Meltzer's been publishing the newsletter since the 80s, before almost anyone had internet. And why is someone a jackass for writing about wrestling, This has been refuted by both me and HTQ. And now Dandy. Like here would be an example: I know D'lo Brown. I've worked with him on a few indy shows, he's held a training seminar at my home wrestling promotion, and I've hung with him a few times in between those times. Wrestlers are notorious for working people or believing things that aren't there, so I would take what D-Lo said with a grain of salt, but not outright dismiss it. Enigma being an idiot doesn't make Meltzer any less credible. And after reading Batista Unleashed again, I'd take Meltz's word over his.
  13. I feel the same. This is the best thing to happen to WWE since Big Dave's last injury Not really. Batista's really improved as a worker since his feuds with Kennedy and Taker in 07. I really like him a lot, though I think it might be time for him to think about hanging it up. And mfn needs to use the shift button
  14. I am the only one who thought it sucked? I figured out the plot really quickly and after that the movie had nothing left. It just felt so self righteous and moved too slowly.

    NFL Week 16

So how did the Lions go from semi-decent this year to 0-14? Was it all losing Kitna?

    NFL Week 16

With the Saints eliminated from the playoffs, Brees shouldn't be MVP
  20. I think Yes Man looks really funny. I see every Jim Carrey movie without fail.
  21. I blame the weather, a lot of the country was blanketed with snow, and well, no one's going to drive to the movies in that weather
  22. What was his member name? And wow, this thread was anti-climatic.

  24. I accept that
  25. Yes, that's me with Santa at a pet store. Seriously, you guys are just as bad as Enigma. He posted it in the General Discussion thread, which is for meaningless comments like that.
