Week 13 Pick Results for Braves/kkk contests
Cuban Linx replied to kkktookmybabyaway's topic in Sports
I bet Gert T doesn't put any predictions in and i end up losing to kkk's default picks anyway. -
11 of the top 14 are Western conference teams and bottom 10 features 9 East teams and the Clippers, anyone surprised? Thought not.
-
112 VGM's despite a crap day from Steve Francis, good enough to move me into a tie for 9th with HarleyQuinn, and i'm only 3 VGM's behind 8th place. 11/28: PG- Chauncey Billups SG- Tracy McGrady SF- Shareef Abdur-Rahim (other options are tempting, but Shareef's been going strong, he's put up numbers on much better teams than Miami) PF- Zach Randolph C- Ben Wallace Coach- Larry Brown
-
Down 2-6, though one of the categories i'm winning is assists, i think this is the first time i've lead that category for even a day at any point all season.
-
Up against Ejiro Fasaki for the first time, this would be hard enough if i wasn't rusty and sick as hell. Though with one exception i seem to write better against tougher opponents, so i'll certainly see if i can pull something decent out. At the very least i can take the "Stryke's not no-showing anymore, no really, i mean it this time" streak to two matches.

119 points, back over 100 VGM's. Again i move up a little worldwide, but can't make any ground in the group, still in 10th. 11/27 lineup, though with NJ/LAC and NY/IND the only games i expect many similar lineups: PG- Jason Kidd SG- Allan Houston (this may very well change to Q-Rich once i find out more about his injury) SF- Ron Artest PF- Kenyon Martin C- Jermaine O'Neal (again, this depends on his status, though with Drobnjak the next best choice i think i'll take my chances) Coach- Rick Carlisle
-
Maybe he picked up Grant Hill just to stash him on IL in the hopes that he can play at some point later in the season, otherwise i don't know. And now Glenn Robinson goes on IL, which i suppose is better now that i can know for sure he won't be playing, instead of having to decide whether to risk putting him in place of someone else on the slim chance he might end up playing.

At least Haas and Benjamin are actually on the show, and in Benjamin's case in a fairly prominent role being in the final four, instead of wallowing on Velocity like they have for ages.

When was the last time we saw Austin with hair, he might not even be able to grow it out anymore.

Why this folder sucks in '03

I blame Ally McBeal for all of this.

I'm indifferent to Test, he's not good, bad or interesting enough for me to really bother paying much attention to him.

Kurt Angle's neck worse than originally thought
Cuban Linx replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
Whenever Kurt gets injured (which is happening more and more these days) i wish he would stay out of the ring long enough for everything to heal fully, instead of always rushing back as fast as humanly possible. It's going to catch up to him eventually. -
92 points, with Q-Rich spraining his ankle and ending up with -2 points after 9 minutes, a shame since the rest of my team scored pretty good. 11/26, though i've put it together in about 30 seconds with no real thought, so i may change it later: PG- Steve Francis SG- Emanuel Ginobili SF- Shareef Abdur-Rahim PF- Tim Duncan C- Yao Ming Coach- Gregg Popovich

Can anyone on my team go more than 5 minutes without getting injured? Q-Rich was one of my few players doing anything worthwhile too. If anything happens to Kevin Garnett i'm going to personally injure a player from all your teams. * uses Stackhouse as a human shield for Garnett *
-
With Alonzo Mourning retiring, i now possess the fearsome center combination of Marc Jackson and Kwame Brown... *cries*
-
Randolph and Miller have a merely decent day instead of their usual awesome for the first time in quite a while, though it was bound to happen eventually. 11/25: PG- Baron Davis SG- Allen Iverson SF- Kevin Garnett PF- Zachary Randolph C- Brad Miller Coach- Don Nelson
-
Well i hold on for the 5-3 win, but i can't keep going through these real close matchups. Something's terribly wrong when Tim Thomas is pretty much the best performer on a team that includes Garnett, Jason Terry and K-Mart. Something's also very wrong when my center gets less rebounds than everyone else on the team, including the guards and players who have missed plenty of games. Looks like my draft strategy of ignoring the Center position until the later rounds hasn't worked out very well at all.

Patrick Ramsey isn't going to make it out of the season alive.

SWF Lockdown Card - November 25th!
Cuban Linx replied to the.weej's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
In a rarely seen event, Stryke has shown up and written a match. Around about 1000 words under the word limit, but i'm happy enough with it, adding more would just be unneccessary filler. Muzz will likely smoke me though. -
Week 12 results for braves/kkk contests...
Cuban Linx replied to kkktookmybabyaway's topic in Sports
Looks as though Cincinnati are going to win, and with that i win my matchup and go 9-2. Gert T won as well, so next week we have the battle of both 9-2 teams.
