If Texas can't make the playoffs themselves at least their last 2 games have most likely put an end the Angels chances. Oakland winning the division i can live with, Los Angeles Anaheim California Angels of whateverthefuck i'd gladly never see near the playoffs again.

I'm in again like always.

1 point between Florida/Tennessee and 4 points between LSU/Auburn is the difference between me going 3-0 and now dropping to 2-1 and probably out of the top 10 altogether, a pox on all of them.

CZW Presents "Last Team Standing" on October 14th
Cuban Linx replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in General Wrestling
Just stick Necro & Toby in the tournament and do another round of matches with them against the H8 Club. Still waiting for a proper end to their feud without awful finishes and turds like Zandig & Nate Hatred getting involved. Who knows what will happen though, on recent CZW booking form at least two teams in the tournament will split up as well as 2 or 3 other barely explained face/heel turns during the show. -

I know the UFC had distribution problems of some sort in the US, but for whatever reason Australia has stayed on schedule. 57 & 58 have both been available here for a while, and 59 should be out in a week and a half as well.

Despite how long i've been hanging around this joint i still haven't managed to end up on a Genesis card, i need to time my ill-conceived comebacks better. Maybe the 8th time will be the charm. Show should be a damn good one.

It's very possible Oakland won't score a single point until Week 4 of the season.

Nearly all my fantasy teams would like to send a hearty 'Fuck You' to Lamont Jordan and Jake Delhomme. Good job guys.

I don't need to look at how i did or who my opponent picked, i'll be SHOCKED if this is anything but a horrific loss for me. I think i got 2, maybe 3 games correct.

Vince did want to have the Unamericans do a promo from Ground Zero around the time of the first anniversary of 9/11, but was talked out of it. I'm sure the idea is still planted in the back of his coke-addled mind just waiting to be used again though.

Vince "pimping out his daughter" to business associates is floating dangerously close to rape territory as well. Vince sure has his share of fucked up issues with women.

Akiyama's reign kinda got screwed from the start, the most compelling stuff they could of done was vs. Kobashi (cancer), vs. Hashi (career-threatening injury), and vs. Shibata (gone from NOAH until now), with them out of the picture there really wasn't much of interest for him to do. As much as i love the Masao Inoue defence, when that's the highlight of your reign it's not a good sign. Hopefully Akiyama will get a decent reign with the GHC one day.

Didn't Kane more or less rape Lita? And somehow turn him face in the process? World Wrestling Entertainment, only place in the world where you can force a woman to have sex against her will, and yet you're the good guy!

If i have to drop in the rankings at least i can say it's because i won by too much.

Living on the other side of the world my favorite teams have all been chosen rather arbitrarily. When i started to follow the NFL the '98 Vikings and their super-offence caught my eye first, then for some reason i can't remember i started liking the Tennessee Titans in early '99 and stuck with them since. I had a passing interest in Baseball but only really made an effort to get into it so i could participate in the fantasy league here in 2004. Out of the players i had on my team i'd pick a player/team i liked to support, and more or less randomly decided to go with Mark Teixeira and the Texas Rangers. Plus i already disliked the Angels for some reason so going with a division rival of theirs worked out nicely. Despite watching the NBA for almost as long as i can remember i've never ended up settling on a 'favorite' team. I was a big fan of the Kemp/Payton-era Sonics, i remember liking the Ewing-era Knicks, i own an Orlando Magic jersey but have no memory of giving a shit about them, i suppose if i had to pick a favorite team right now it'd be the Blazers, but their antics over the last few years have severely reduced my enthusiasm for them too. Odd that the league i've always liked the most and have watched for by far the longest i've never really stuck with one team.

Any tournament that Lleyton Hewitt loses is a good tournament to me. I was looking forward to the possibility of him being crushed by Federer yet again, but Federer destroying Roddick will fill the "guys i don't like getting squashed" void well enough. As long as we get Federer/Haas i'll be happy.

I faced Gert at the end of last years College Pickem, again to start this years College Pickem, and now i face him in the kkk Bowl as well, i can't seem to escape him. Though as long as i keep winning i don't mind. Hard to say for me, obviously due to my sporadic to say the least writing habits, but whenever i have been showing i tended to beat the majority of guys i faced. There's never been anyone in the fed i haven't thought i could beat, it's just backing those thoughts up by actually doing anything that's evaded me. On a pure win/loss basis it pains me to say that it was probably Ash Ketchum. Which i put down to me writing extraordinarily shitty matches against him nearly every time, but still i've lost to him more times than nearly everyone else i've faced combined. That Jumping Mew Driver, it gets you every time.

11/13 would have to be close to the best round i've had in this thing, regardless of whether Miami wins or not i should keep a spot high in the top 10. Not bad for a guy that's rarely able to watch any games and has only been following College Football since last year.

The Out Magazine Bowl re-match is mine. Good thing Navy and Pittsburgh won since i'm far from confident in Miami/FSU.
