Ring of Honor Best of the Super Juniors results
Cuban Linx replied to DangerousDamon's topic in General Wrestling
The only way the tournament could have been a letdown was if the worst guy in it was the winner, and unfortunately that's what happened. Getting the ICP, Konnan and Iceberg treatment with the "don't come back" chant would seem to indicate that in addition to ROH jobbing it's stars to an outsider that Kashin's matches weren't any good to boot. Of course live reports and crowds on past ROH shows have been completely and totally wrong in the past so who knows, but everything non-Dragon Soldier should be good with Danielson-Spanky apparently amazing, and if this leads to some sort of ROH/NJPW show that will certainly make up for one questionably booked tournament. -

Backstage/sometimes in-ring Interviews, basically.

Danielson, Joe, Homicide & Punk i'm set on being the top 4, the 5th spot could be any of a number of people, Ki/Cabana/Aries/Evans/Shelley/Romero/Gibson i could all consider as #5 depending on what criteria you want to factor in the most.

Might as well add my name here. Stryke = KillAllHumans101 I'll probably manage to be online about as much as i manage to show up for the SWF, i.e. not very much, but who knows.

Kevin Garnett + 7 crushes all opposition. *sits back and enjoys 1st round bye*

Looks like i'm a sure bet to finish 1st overall, and i only had to make two roster moves all year to do it, while forgetting to update my lineup plenty of times and being stuck with a shit center all season to boot. On keepers, i don't know when they have to be in but i'm almost certainly going to go with Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen & Kirk Hinrich.

There's apparently a 'bomb threat' of some sort, that's why the games being delayed.

Got to level 10, but i can't make out the audio so i'm giving up, if it takes this much work at just the 10th level i'd hate to see what levels 11-80 are like.

Joe/Necro's been one of my bigger dream matches for a while, so i'm thrilled it's actually going to happen.

Maybe the bees like good baseball and are just doing everyone a service by stopping crappy games between crappy teams. Kansas City Royals and Pittsburgh Pirates watch out.
-
All these changes don't matter, since i'm winning regardless of what the rules are or what stats are used.

Despite his greatest performance featuring him as a face (Joe vs. Punk II), i prefer Punk as a heel. He usually wrestles like a heel anyway, his gimmick and personality shine the most when he's a heel and can piss off the fans, outside of Chicago where he has mega heat or when he has someone very strong to play off (ie. Samoa Joe) i've never particularly cared for CM Punk as a face.

Ridiculously loaded, and that's just night one. Even without the likes of Joe/Danielson/Gibson for night two it should be damn good too, especially if rumored matches like Super Dragon vs AJ Styles go down.

Down to 9 Sweet Sixteen teams, 6 Elite Eight and 3 Final Four Teams, my Albuquerque bracket is shot to utter shit and Syracuse isn't much better, but at least with Chicago & Austin i have 7 of the 8 Sweet Sixteen teams still alive.

The Best Team picks up some backup pitching with Kip Wells. iggymcfly and Smell the ratings!!! to finish the round.
