Bob Sura puts up his third straight Triple-Double in a win over the Nets, first to do that since Grant Hill in '97. Sura's certainly doing all he can to earn a bigger contract once he's a free agent at the end of the season.

A few people predicted my team to win pretty easily, so i guess i sure showed them. Nearly all of my team underperformed, aside from Adrian Beltre who is greatly overperforming. 11 hits, 7 runs, a double, 3 homers and 8 RBI's while hitting .478 through 6 games. It won't last, but hopefully by the time he cools down the rest of my team starts showing up.

I hope Lieberthal gets his shit together sometime soon, he's hitting just .100 and with Mauer on the DL my Catcher position is giving me absolutely nothing. It's a good thing i picked up Adrian Beltre, him and Mark Teixeira are about my only two batters doing anything. Kerry Wood putting in a strong game after posting a 7.20 ERA game 1 also helps me greatly, if Wood and Mulder are firing my pitching pretty much takes care of itself. I think i lost this matchup 9-7 though, so i guess their preformances came too late.

Although it's not up at the moment thanks a bunch, unless my memory is slipping i've never got to watch this match before.

Well the 21 straight playoff appearance streak is all but over now. Portland's loss to Denver means they'll have to beat both the Lakers and Spurs, while both Denver and Utah lose all their remaining games, and i severely doubt that'll happen. I knew they'd get my hopes up for nothing.

Yay match writing. One of the things i was looking forward to when coming back was writing against some of the newer WF'ers (Maddix, Royal, Clark, Toxxic etc), and it looks like Todd's the first i'll get to test myself against.

The match was put in the show, so i guess it's not needed here anymore.
