Hey Chris, great news about the website. I also get the chance to update my signature too, which is nice Can't believe they'd cut the "Brock smearing Hogan's blood" bit of the match...surely that's the thing it's most remembered for?

You have to feel sorry for the guy and the fans clearly still loved him. Whoever takes over next really has a tough job as, unless it's a Newcastle hero like Shearer, they're going to have great difficulty taking over from someone as popular as Sir Bobby. On a lighter note, the signing of Callum Davenport by Spurs made my bank holiday, especially after going to the Coventry/Forest massacre on Saturday, where Davo looked like a star in the making. Him and King a future England centre-back pairing ?

"Red Wine At Dead Time" by Cecil

Irritatingly, they don't actually give any criteria for how they've deemed something "heavy", but in regards to Priest, they admit that it isn't as sonically heavy as "Painkiller" or "Jugulator", but the impact that "Stained Class" had on heavy music in general earns it the place in the list. Seemingly, they tried to combine the influence the albums had on metal with actual heaviness. This seems to be the case with Blue Cheer, which they claim helped develop the concept of heavy metal.

As each day passes, I love Jacques Santini a little bit more. What a great result against a decent Birmingham team, and another couple of million added to Jermain Defoe's value.

You've read it already? No, the rest of the list is pretty disappointing in comparison, but some less predictable stuff does sneak through. Without further ado... 50.Nile-In Their Darkened Shrines 49.Meshuggah-Destroy Ease Improve 48.Akercocke-The Goat Of Mendes 47.Big Black-Songs Abour Fucking 46.Exodus-Bonded By Blood 45.Iron Maiden-Killers 44.Neurosis-Souls At Zero 43.Mistress-Mistress 42.Strapping Young Lad-City 41.The Locust-Plague Soundscapes 40.Iron Monkey-Our Problem 39.Down-Nola 38.Emperor-Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk 37.Nine Inch Nails-The Downward Spiral 36.Godflesh-Godflesh 35.Cannibal Corpse-Butchered At Birth 34.Motorhead-Overkill 33.Trouble-Psalm 9 32.Zyklon-Aeon 31.Testament-The Legacy 30.Anaal Nathrakh-The Codex Necro 29.Cradle Of Filth-The Principles Of Evil Made Flesh 28.Bathory-Under The Sign Of The Black Mark 27.System Of A Down-System Of A Down 26.Deicide-Deicide 25.Napalm Death-From Enslavement To Obliteration 24.Darkthrone-A Blaze In The Northern Sky 23.Carcass-Symphonies Of Sickness 22.Megadeth-Peace Sells...But Who's Buying? 21.Satyricon-Nemesis Divina 20.Korn-Korn (WTF??) 19.Kyuss-Blues From The Red Sun 18.Shadows Fall-The Art Of Balance 17.Death-Scream Bloody Gore 16.Arch Enemy-Anthems Of Rebellion 15.Dimmu Borgir-Stormblast 14.Morbid Angel-Blessed Are The Sick 13.Obituary-Slowly We Rot 12.Chimaira-The Impossibility Of Reason 11.Sepultura-Chaos AD 10.Venom-Black Metal 9.Killswitch Engage-The End Of Heartache 8.Superjoint Ritual-A Lethal Dose Of American Hatred 7.Machine Head-Through The Ashes Of Empires 6.Slipknot-Iowa 5.Pantera-Vulgar Display Of Power 4.Slayer-Reign In Blood 3.Metallica-Kill 'Em All 2.Black Sabbath-Black Sabbath 1.Judas Priest-Stained Class Thoughts? While the second half is a let down, from the pretty predictable top 15, which is over-populated with recent releases, to some controvertial positions (in no way are Korn heavier than Iron Monkey or Akercocke), the first half is pretty damn good.

"Rocking The Suburbs" by Ben Folds

"Head Music" by Suede- I'd been listening to "Coming Up" this morning at work and I'd forgotten how good it was, so, seeing "Head Music" for £5 was a guarenteed sale. "When I Was Cruel" by Elvis Costello- £3!! Have I mentioned how much I LOVE my nearest CD shop? An absolute bargain!

All I can do is hope that the right bands win awards. By which I mean My Chemical Romance win best international newcomer, Funeral For A Friend win best live act, Ash win best single and Reuben getting best British newcomer. However, I get the impression that the same brain-dead winners will survive (Linkin Park as best best band in the world???). And is there REALLY no-one they could have found better as host than Stuart Cable?

"Lucky Denver Mint" by Jimmy Eat World

"Beautiful Loser" by Suede

"Fido" by Broccoli

I'm not sure why, but I get the impression that Knoxx vs Flash in the cage could be awesome.

"The Phantom Of The American Mother" by Catherine Wheel

"Asshole" by Gene Simmons

I wonder what this means... And if he does, there's only one player he'll be trying to sign off us Dean Richards! This could be GLORIOUS
-
"Gorgeous George" by Edwyn Collins for about £3 off eBay, making it my third £3 Edwyn album in a month, but I'm happy to get the mans genius for such low prices. "Can Our Love..." by Tindersticks which was £5, and they're one of those bands I've always thought I should try listening to and I couldn't really argue at that price. And, to my delight, it's great.

One Hour Photo- 9/10 Great film and I only wish that Robin Williams made more films like this.

The likes of Rey or Chavo beating Hogan is no more unrealistic than an a man like Hogan, who isn't exactly in the prime of life, beating Reigns, Jindrak or Dupree, all of whom I doubt Hogan would put over, which is the main reson I'd be opposed to his return.

Worst fucking band. You're both wrong. Great fucking band. Go listen to Allman Brothers, then. For what it's worth, here are my least favorite currently active bands, "indie" edition (no particular order): My Morning Jacket The Faint The Thrills Polyphonic Spree Ooh, take away the Faint and replace them with the Libertines or Franz Ferdinand and that's my list exactly. ESPECIALLY the Polyphonic Spree- if someone tells me "You just don't like them because you don't like happy music" one more time, I'll scream. I don't like them because they're a bunch of feckless tossers who use this "we're a cult who wear white sheets" gimmick to cover the fact that their lead singer hasn't written a good song since he was in Tripping Daisy ten years ago!

Rebuttal: Sapp makes FAR more money in Japan than Vince would dream of offering him (about £3 million per annum, according to one report I read) and Vince would be cautious about putting him over his home-made stars. Statement: There is more chance of Rene Dupree becoming WWE champion than Rob Van Dam
-
"FACE FULL OF STUFF! FACE FULL OF STUFF!" Stevie Ray, as Tygress gave Mark Jindrak a bronco-buster
-
In fairness, you dominated the match yesterday, and it was only the excellence of Robbo that kept us in the game, plus the fact that Atouba's shot was near unstoppable for Given.
-
Rebuttal: While La Parka is obviously great, the fact that he'd be horribly misused, plus the fact that his style doesn't really fit in with most of the current WWE stars, means that his impact would be minimal at best Statement: In spite of being seen as a bad thing, the outlandish gimmicks of the mid 90's were a better way to introduce new superstars than being just some new guy who appears from nowhere
