I could be wrong, but isn't there a weightlifting lift named after RVD? Also, Jorge "Giant" Gonzales was a basketball player, before getting knee injuries and Doug Williams was a judo champion in the UK
-
The only reason I thought RVD might not sign is that he's always been very vocal that he doesn't need to be the WWE to survive. He has his own shop (RVD's 5 Star Comics) and he can survive on indy shows and Japanese tours for money and he's quoted as saying that he's never got to fear being out of work. But, at the end of the day, the most exposure is with the WWE BTW, I notice that this news story has been posted again as it's own topic

10) God, yes- Ahmed "Big T" Johnson. How could I forget his fatboy flying clothesline at Uncensored 2000
-
Basically, from what I've read, the fans booed him out of the building, with chants of "We Want Matt", "Hogan's Better" and "You Got Fired". Although some fans were cheering Jeff at the start, a very weak match, with blown spots and no intelligence (ie- all the usual Jeff spots randomly stuck in), meant that the whole crowd turned on him by the end.

You know if you're going to make fun of the WWE for rehiring someone that's had drug problems in the past you could say the same thing about Eddie.
-
My worry is that, if they bring back Hardy, he hasn't actually been wrestling since his release, bar that 3-way fiasco in RoH and a couple of local shows. It's not like Eddie's return, when he'd busted a gut in the indies to earn his way back- what has Jeff done in the last year to prove he deserves another chance?

If ever one single web page was the definition of the word "WRONG", that would be it. The fecal girl in the bath is sick enough, but that woman...*shudders*

Was it Toad? If so, he was a close friend of Lodi's. Lodi would always talk about him on his website and they teamed up in the indys after the brief Lenny/Lodi fallout in 1999

8) hint 1 there is many variations of this two word named move I'm guessing that, as it's a headdrop move, which are a no-go in the WWE, that it was the Brain Buster? 10) What former WWF wrestler tried using various Puro style moves (such as the Tiger Driver, Falcon's Arrow some Tope's) in the mid to late 90's in the WWF) Carl Oulette?

Who lost her only WWF Womens title to IVORY

Who made a successful defence of that title at WrestleMania XIV against AGUILA

I love that logic. You're trying to buy footage from New Japan, while at the same time letting JR complain about "Japanese promotions sucking pond water, BAH GAWD!" Hardly going the right way to smooth negotiations, is it?

Franz Ferdinand may be the most over-hyped pile of cack I've heard this year. Nice to see even Marillion placed higher than them in the chart, so there's still some hope. Eh. I don't hate them as much as I do Muse. Ah, you see Muse were the most over-hyped pile of cack I heard LAST year. Since I left university, I haven't had MTV2 or any other music channels, so thankfully a lot of tat seems to have passed me by, including new Muse material. Worst case scenario: the music of Franz Ferdinand combined with the cat-in-a-bonfire vocals of that twat from Muse *shudders*

Of course there's a Korea- that's where Gail Kim comes from EDIT: interestingly, her Raw profile still has her coming from Toronto.

Wrestlers where their debut televised matches were
DCMaximo replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in General Wrestling
I assume you mean for the company, which explains Goldust Christian (for the Lightheavyweight title, no less) Tazz (vs Angle at Rumble 2000) Kurt Angle (vs Stasiak at Survivor Series 1999) Great Sasuke and TAKA Michinoku (Canadian Stampede) Mikey Whipwreck (WCW debut vs Kidman, Uncensored 2000) And obviously celebs like Lawrence Taylor and Mr T -
God, how I wish that were genuine..although having a diseased liver lying about may not be the nicest thing to have in the house.
