Of course, the good thing about ABOBO is that he only pops up about twice a month, so the joke doesn't get old.

Hmmm, I guess Eddy isn't the only Guerrero to have the Latino Heat in his body.

Agreed. The song is on the soundtrack for Freddy vs Jason, if that's any help

2) What almost never before seen move was done to Owen Hart during WWF Wrestlefest 94 by Scott Steiner? Steiner Screwdriver 4) Who's tag team finisher was a Double DDT? Not sure if this is who you mean, but DOA (Skull and 8-Ball) used a double DDT as a finisher 6) What move did Andre "Try" using as his finisher during the late 87-88 period of his career? Is that the lame suplex thing he did? 7) What Semi Current Finisher of a WWE wrestler would be compared to Mr. Gannosuke's Fire Thunder ? Rikishi Driver 9) Who Executed the First Tombstone style Piledriver at a Wrestlemania? Davey Boy Smith (WrestleMania III on Danny Davis)

You say Bookend like it's THAT much better. Both are weak as fuck. The heatseeker was pretty cool though. I wouldn't mind seeing him go back to that, but not as a heel. You mean the 110th Street Slam? I thought that was a spinebuster delivered more like Hardcore Holly's Alabamaslama. I thought the HeatSeeker was a missile dropkick?

The only problem with the ax kick is that the opponent should actually have a reason to be bent over for a sufficent period of time to allow Booker to hit the ax kick. I've always thought the set up, especially when Booker is a heel, should be a kick to the groin- now THATS a reason to stay doubled over.

Franz Ferdinand may be the most over-hyped pile of cack I've heard this year. Nice to see even Marillion placed higher than them in the chart, so there's still some hope.

Well I'll personally be glad to see the back of the 2003-2004 season. Not only did I have to put up with Wales failing to qualify for the European championship (after I was convinced we would), but I had to endure being a Tottenham fan while Arsenal won the league title at White Hart Lane, while we still contend with relegation. Thank God for a last minute Robbie Keane penalty. Oh, and great Champ Manager players- Andrew Martin of Crystal Palace is great, as is Ante Maletic, who is 100K from some Ukrainian team.

Blasphemy! Hole In The Head was good, but Crashed The Wedding is catchy as sin. And having just heard Air Hostess, the lyric "I messed my pants as we flew over France" instantly proves the genius of Busted.

I don't think so, it'd only be a matter of time before they brought the 24/7 rule back out and we'd be back to the same old tat we had before, where eight different men held the title in one night. Besides, having too many hardcore matches means they lose their mystique. The Orton/Foley brawl, the first real hardcore match we'd seen for a while, would've seemed less intense if we had Tommy Dreamer battling Rob Conway in a hardcore match on Heat. Hardcore should be saved for really intense feuds so they actually mean something.

That's true, but he tags with former All-Japan star Jimmy Yang in a team where they were supposed to be Japanese mafia, and he's certainly more of a Japanese superstar than the rest of the Smackdown roster. There's certainly no reason why they can't use these guys as their Japanese stars for the show.
-
Also, surely letting Ultimo Dragon go away for a few months, without getting him to do this show (since he's already in Japan) is pretty stupid.

In spring 1999, I'm pretty sure Rey Mysterio held the WCW Cruiser title as well as the tag title with Kidman, the man he beat for the Cruiser belt. Also Bret was WCW Champion as well as tag champion with Goldberg.

Krueger and DeKlerk wrestled as Team South Africa at Starrcade 1990, as part of the Pat O'Connor Memorial tag team tournament. Krueger is better known as Matt Bourne of Doink the Clown/Big Josh fame. DeKlerk was the late Ted Petty, better known as Flyboy Rocco Rock of the Public Enemy.

I'd love to see Justice in BOTB. He really impressed me in the trifecta last year and he could definitely put on a good show this year.

No-one ever mentions Los Guerreros vs Chris Benoit and Billy Kidman, which is a shame because it was a fantastic match, even though we all knew who would do the job in the match.
-
Agreed 100%, especially the MTX. Hell, add Pansy Division and the Donnas and you've got the cream of the Lookout! Records roster.

Hey, lets not be bringing the Busted-hate here. If you can name me a better pop song than Year 3000 or Crashed The Wedding, I'll be shocked. McFly, yeah, they suck, but Busted=goodness.

I generally read the shoot reviews, the Lazarush, the indy reviews and the Friday the 13th reviews that have been popping up. I also read the Raw report from time to time.

Definitely, Drive-Thru is one of my favourite labels. Finch and Something Corporate both bring the emo-rock goodness and the likes of Homegrown, Fenix TX (RIP), New Found Glory and the now departed Midtown have all released fantastic records for the label. I haven't heard about the two new bands (I'm kind of out of touch with music over the last few months), but as long as their better than Steel Train, I'll be happy
