Stiff Little Fingers....Inflammable Materials is utter greatness, featuring two of their best known works (Alternative Ulster and Suspect Device) and is certainly worth checking out. Air....a contrast to other replies, but I personally like their soundtrack to the Virgin Suicides more than Moon Safari. Playground Love is my favourite Air song and the whole album seems more cohesive than MS.

I agree- I can't watch that match all the way through now, it just doesn't entertain me anymore

Just got back from watching Shaun Of The Dead, which I'd give a healthy 8/10. Some of the characters are brilliantly written (Ed the flatmate being a particular favourite), the funny bits are really funny, the sad bits are really sad and the gory bits are very gory. Simon Pegg is great as Shaun and Dylan Moran is fantastic as a complete arsehole called Dave. Recommended.

Does anyone know if Ravex will keep doing updates for EWR 4.0 or if they'll be solely working on TEW from now on? I'll be sticking with EWR, but it would be nice to have updates every so often

Bought the new Hundred Reason album, "Shatterproof Is Not A Challenge", as well as the first Distillers album yesterday. Hundred Reasons album is damn good, like Far or the Deftones, except without the epic edge that the Deftones normally apply. The Distillers album is great and on first listen sounds much better than "Coral Fang"

Actually I think it was Grudges, Gripes, & Grunts. Smack em Whack em had the Hart/HBK Ladder Match and Hart/Flair Title Switch. Indeed it is, and it's a fantastic match, certainly the only reason to watch an otherwise dreadful tape. On WrestleFest 93, there's a good Shawn Michaels vs Virgil match for the IC title. Of course, the finish is in no doubt, but Shawn gives Virgil plenty of offense and it's certainly a ***+ match.

This may not have been a techincally great match, but on WCW Revenge on the N64, I had what has become known as the Purple La Parka match. Basically, even though I owned the game, my friend the Verm was much better than me at it and always beat me using Chris Jericho. This time, I elected to use La Parka as my character, but chose him in the purple costume. As usual, I was getting wasted, until he got to special and put me in a Liontamer. Incredibly, La Parka managed to survive and the hold was broken. Until this point, I'd hit maybe two moves on him. Then, La Parka manages to block every move attempted on him and goes to special within 20 seconds. One Tiger Driver '91 later, and the Purple La Parka picked up a shocking victory

Agreed, these girls are cursed by their inability to pose for photos without using a stupid expression. But they all look fine, with #3 being particularly hot. Maybe your friends mock them because they're really annoying (if they are, that is) or because one of the decided to suck off your best friend

RVD has always said he doesn't need to stay in the WWE to make money. He has his own business (RVD's Five-Star Comics) and has enough name value for the US indies and Japan to name his price for appearances. If he's unhappy in the WWE, then I can see him leaving this summer

For the time being, what they do with Dinsmore's character could be similar to the character of Ikeda-kun, who wrestled for WMF. His gimmick is that he is a crazed wrestling fan, who enters matches to try and get autographs or photos of his favourite wrestlers. When the wrestler refuses enough to upset him (for example, Curry Man ripping up the pieces of card that Ikeda-kun wants signed), he snaps and starts to beat the shit out of his hero. From what I've heard, Dinsmore is playing the character of a huge wrestling fan, who happens to be retarded, so I can see him trying to get Garrison Cade's autograph, being refused, then just going psycho on his ass and beating him shitless.
