Why don't the Packers look into getting Michael Turner or something like that?

I don't mean to argue with you guys. You know what you want. I just think Ginn will be a bust, but hey if I'm wrong, my Bears will pay for it two times a year.

I watched a couple of their games. Yeah Reggie's been nice at times, and drive-killing at other times. Besides why insinuate I haven't watched a single Saints game? What I described him was what was going on earlier in the season, when people were calling him out for not living up to the hype. He was always getting negative yards earlier on the season. And I did say "UNTIL FEW GAMES TO GO" meaning I acknowledged he got a lot better in the end of the season.

Packers fans would be best served with the reminder that NCAA speed doesn't always translate into NFL speed. Look at Reggie Bush. He was supposed to be so speedy and shifty, all he's done until a few games to go in the season was high step and shuffle his way to 7 yard losses.

Good. Keep out the bandwagon Saints fans (not referring to you, of course).

Why? It sounds like a couple of spoiled kids being upset because Houston Nutt rode the McFadden train all the way to the SEC championship instead of on the arm of Mitch Mustain.

Just saying. If you're content with keeping a player for ONE play to hang his career on, that's your choice.

The issue isn't the absurdity of how he broke it, it's the fact it was even broken to begin with. Also watching him, he seems like a Desmond Howard type, a burner in college but will be outclassed on the NFL level.

He broke his foot in a celebration. One tells me that isn't NFL-durable.

Ginn isn't going to succeed on the NFL level, but hey, if it cripples the Packers, I'm all for it.

Lost in all this is the fact Rex Grossman is actually having a better season at the quarterback position than the last guy to lead the Bears to a Super Bowl, Jim McMahon.

I hope both Bears and Chargers win today so Marv's Ravens can have the honor of being the only home team to lose in the playoffs so far.

I thought about that but really, who's going to tell the Big Twelve commissioner that one of his schools isn't going in and that they're taking a WAC team instead? It'd cause a shitstorm. Mandatory entries would only placate the heads of the six conferences into letting a playoff happen.

The issue I have with a playoff, especially a 8 team one, is the fact that you'd have to include all the champions of the six big conferences (ACC, Big East, Big Ten, Big Twelve, Pac-10 and SEC), leaving only two spots for at-large bids. Those bids aren't going to be given to the Boise States of the world, so you'd still have the same problems you have now with the BCS format.

Because Boise State beat a 2 loss team by 1 point in overtime. Combine that with the perception that they only ran up the undefeated record because they played in a shitty conference, and you get disrespect towards Boise State. LSU beat a highly touted Notre Dame and USC beat a team that was previously undefeated before facing the #1 team (as of entering the title game) and also beat Notre Dame. Their wins are going to be more impressive than Boise State. Not that I agree with the sentiments, but I assume that's why LSU and USC are ranked ahead, besides name value.

It's hard not to take a backseat to 4 main eventers when you're feuding with a fatass flavor of the month.

I doubt she'd actually be there, but if she was, I'd be at loss of words.
