I fail to see how a pitcher injecting steroids eliminates his natural talent, which is undeniable? I mean all the roids does is maybe bump his average pitch speed a little bit. That's true, and that was the beginning of their big game slide. And Mizzou is way better than that KSU team was. So I'm not going to count my chickens before they hatch. I'm not saying I expect them to roll everyone they play, but I'm not exactly expecting any big time chokejobs this year. Didn't you think the Bedlam game could give them trouble? I mean, they put a lot of themselves into tonight's game. I could see a situation where they arrive in Stillwater burnt out. Though I do fully expect Oklahoma to win out and give us a decently exciting title game against the SEC champion.

Question, are the Rose Bowl committee absolutely required to take Oregon State? Suppose they want to avoid a rematch, and want to have the "bigger matchup" of USC/Penn State? I mean, I'm sure if they could, that'd be the direction they take, but I am not sure if it'd be against the rules.

Then what about Texas? They're higher ranked than USC. If Oklahoma loses in the Big XII title game, wouldn't Texas simply get plugged in their spot against Alabama/Florida?

Actually, they'd win a share of the title. Oregon State just gets the Rose Bowl invite. Which is fine with me if USC made the title game (though I recognize that as a virtual impossibility).
