Because I bought it on the day of its release at a criminally overpriced big movie store chain (Suncoast). Like I said, it was worth the buy, regardless of the price.

I bought it for 60 bucks. That's how much I like House. It's pretty good, 22 episodes plus some bonus materials. All the episodes are great, except for a couple that didn't appeal to me personally (pregnancy episode and baby episode). Either way, the quality won't change whether it is 60 dollars, 40 dollars or 20 dollars, so if you want to wait long to get the price slashed, by all means, go for it. I personally chose to possess this classic right away, bank account be damned.

I actually got the Season 1 on DVD for House, so I knew it was sticking around for a while, but the show is just so good that I keep worrying Fox would eventually go, "Hey know what could make this better? Let's introduce a transvestite doctor!" or move it somewhere that would kill the show or whatever. I have very little faith in Fox after seeing how they handled their other shows...

I'd hope the league is run like a legitimate league, where wins are rewarded and losses are not. The best players should be the ones to go for the titles and so forth while the worst should just be a designated jobber for the time being. It should be a competition, it's not like we get together to work out the spots, unless we wanted to put together a visually attractive match, but who else would watch?

I hope people have the sense not to blame this play as being the play to turn the series around. Both the Sox and Angels have to win 3 more games to advance, so hopefully they play good baseball for the rest of the series without questionable calls like that, and then this will be forgotten...hopefully. If not, just blame Paul and the Angels.

Man Vicodin is weak. I used up a prescription's worth in a day. Got a mild buzz at best. Woke up the next day feeling very sick though.
