As a competitor to WWE (which they want to be), 0.8 is not good. It's good for what they are now, which is a newly-expanding Jeff Jarrett vehicle disguised as a national promotion stuck on a late Saturday night slot (which I don't even know why people think it's a ratings abyss, I mean more people are likely to be up at this time than they would on a Tuesday in the same slot).
They should only make 1 Raw vs SD Survivor Series match. Have the stipulation be that the winning team gets the #30 slot in the Royal Rumble. Also the reason why I had a face/heel dynamic is because Raw has been painted as the heel group (thanks to Eric's fucking with SD's match last night), though it was awesome to see Shawn Michaels beat on Rey Mysterio in the brawl. If I was to actually book the show disregarding the current storylines going on, my ideal match would be:
Team Raw:
Triple H
Kurt Angle
Shawn Michaels
John Cena
Big Show
Team SD:
Batista
Eddie Guerrero
Chris Benoit
JBL
Rey Mysterio
If I had to book a Raw vs SD SS match, it'd be:
Team Bischoff:
Kurt Angle
Chris Masters
Carlito
Edge
Team Long:
Chris Benoit
Rey Mysterio
Christian
Booker T.
Have Cena face Hunter (as I don't want that happening at Mania)
Batista vs Eddie II
To make you laugh. I'm not here to intensely hate you. My point was there's a lot of legitimately cool things about the guys involved that you don't necessarily have to lie about AJ being a near Olympic gymnast. Hell if he wanted to watch Olympic participants, he should like Kurt Angle or something like that.
Yay? Well I don't blame them. The White Sox pretty much nearly damn killed their fanbase with the near collapse. It's going to have to take a sweep of both Red Sox and the winner of Yankees/Angels to regain credibility.
One could make an inference to you saying Cards/Red Sox= North Side Suicide, following the Cards/White Sox comment. However this is a silly discussion. If you like the Red Sox, then cool.
It's only 1 game. It takes THREE games to eliminate a team. If Contreras can't get it done, then they'll just hope Buehrle and Garland and Garcia does. Really, like you said, he's been their best pitcher in September, so why not? Go with a pat hand.
Dames, I disagree about the Lashley/Brown comments. Bobby has been around for all of ONE show. And he already got the crowd popping for him. His finisher > Monty's. His look > Monty's. We'll have to see how both men pan out on the national stage though.
