The top 4 should be USC, LSU, Florida and Oklahoma. They are pretty interchangable at this point though. LSU looked the most impressive but their "big" win was at home where they rarely lose at night. USC only had two games, one that they were obviously not really trying that hard (against Idaho) and one "big" win on the road against Nebraska who could very well be overrated to begin with anyways. Oklahoma's only win of note was against a declined Miami program at home. Florida ate up two jobbers and then beat Tennessee at home in impressive fashion, but once again, who knows how good Tennessee really is, since California also beat them. West Virginia is West Virginia and their conference and schedule won't really impress anyone, especially now that Louisville has shown themselves to be all offense/no defense and who knows how legit Rutgers and USF is, considering USF's big win was against Auburn who also lost to Mississippi State.

Just wanted to point this out. Indeed, KOAB, indeed. And Marvin, when the Patriots are stomping on the #1 team from last year, they can talk all they want. I knew when LT had that press conference cracking wise about the Patriots cheating something bad would come out of it. The Patriots' fans probably won't be silenced unless they somehow miss the playoffs, or something similar where it becomes evident that the cheating was a big asset in their past success.

And the Chargers are loudly letting Patriots get away again.

So officials can see who is the ONE player that's allowed a headset inside the helmet on offense. Each helmet that has a headset inside it has to have the green dot, so a QB who plays WR like Brad Smith, cannot go in with an added advantage of having two headset helmets in the huddle.

I assume because Nebraska scored a bunch of points in garbage time to cut down the deficit to only 18 whereas Virginia Tech was not allowed back into the LSU game, losing by 30+, therefore Nebraska looks "stronger".

Green Bay looks the most solid. Good defense and the offense is serviceable enough to win the division. Detroit obviously has an offense to compete but I'm not sold on their defense yet. Chicago's defense is good but their offense is just terrible. Too terrible. Minnesota's defense is alright and run offense is pretty okay, but the pass offense sucks. After two games, this is how I think the North will shake out: 1. Green Bay 2. Chicago if Detroit falters/Detroit if they keep it up 3. Chicago/Detroit 4. Minnesota But the gap between 2-4 will probably not even be more than 2 games apart.

I too go 2-0. Pretty cool. Though maybe I should be representing Denver with how close my wins were.

And he should be, IMHO. Brohm puts up a lot of fireworks, too, but doesn't have Brennan's numbers. JD Booty shouldn't even be in the same category because he's mainly a caretaker for the USC offense rather than a game-breaker. Agreed. If I had a vote to give, and Brennan kept this up, he's my pick for Heisman. As for Booty, everyone knows how much I dislike him, but last night should have ended any talk about him being the Heisman. The team won with the running game and proved that they don't need Booty to win.

Is Mustain even that much better than Sanchez? I would figure he would be given the job next season since he would have a full season more's worth of knowledge of the USC playbook.

King, why is the only time Mark Sanchez in the game is to hand the ball off? I would like to see some passing from him.

I don't think so. Penn State was not as highly regarded as Michigan then and Appalachian State is a FCS team whereas Buffalo is actually a FBS team.
