I also expected to be blown out tonight, which just made it so much more depressing knowing we had a chance and still finding a way to lose. Oh well, 157 games left, and I'll be there Thursday.
Truly disgusting loss by The Cubs tonight. So far the Astros, Cardinals, Cubs, Yankees, Phillies, and Red Sox are vastly underperforming. Am I forgetting anyone?
The problem with the Cubs is their complete inability to play small ball. Each of the last two games was completely winnable, but our offense is just horrendous.

The Eastern conference only has five teams with winning records, while the Western conference only has three with losing records. Also, it has been a team from the West that has won the championship every year for the past five years. Why is this? Why are things so uneven?
