I can only imagine the look on poor Tom's face when he heard the guard say that. Overall, the guards don't give two shits about the inmates, or their problems (mentally or physically) and I cannot sit here and say they should care. Until you walk a mile in their shoes, its always easier to say what should be done and how things should be handled. Prison rape is very unfortunate, and horrible even for the worst individuals, but its a uncurable "disease" within the prison system.

Did they disclose how much explosives were inside the vehicles? The amount necessary to create such a deadly blast would easily be at least 500 pounds. We've got people shooting up college students and they've got genocidal bombers. I'm just wondering when a terrorist will detonate a nuclear device within one of our cities. Only a matter of time.

Finished The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks a few weeks ago. Outside of its obvious comical theme, I liked the book. Of course its nothing ground breaking nor Earth shattering, but it is enjoyable. I've ventured out and bought his second book, World War Z (which is being made into a movie by Brad Pitt's company) and this is a more serious toned book, and I like how the story is presented, via interviews. Brooks ability to describe the surroundings in both books is fantastic, although not on par with many famous writers. I recommend both, mostly to zombie genre fans and buffs.
