Bob, are you and Leena somehow related? I ask, because you always avoid posts that show you're a complete idiot and completely wrong. You like to talk shit on the internet, but I gurantee you wouldn't talk half the shit you do in real life. You must be suffering from small man syndrome. -

Way to prove me wrong. Oh yeah, that's right, you did exactly what I knew and said you'd do. How predictable. -

Dave is pretty buff though. I bet HTQ would love to watch him work out. And then change in the locker room. But come on Al, how was it a "tasteless joke?" JN News made his usual awful post, and I responded with a little snide comment. It wasn't a joke, more like a snide comment. I also was once warned by mole, but it was rescinded. I'd like this to be rescinded as well Bob, are you seriously upset about being "suspended" and warned on an internet message board? I find that awfully ridiculous, and think you should concentrate on more pressing matters like losing your virginity, moving out of your parents house, getting a life, etc. Yes, this is coming from a guy who is medically diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, so, spare me with the suicidal bullshit. -
No Way Out is shaping up to be a pretty solid PPV. The Royal Rumble was a good start for 2007, let's hope that NWO keeps that momentum going! http://www.wrestlingobserver.com/wo/news/h...t.asp?aID=18593

The Departed: Martin Scorsese - Rotten Tomatoe Ranking 93% - I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I waited nearly two weeks to rent, since it was out every time I went to the movie store. I'm not a huge Dicaprio fan, but he was pretty fucking brillant in his role, as was Nicholson as the absurdly calm, yet insane mob lord. Matt Damon is eh, as is Wahlberg, regardless of their performances this movie is Highly recommended. The ending is a twist I never thought I'd see coming. The Prestige: Christopher Nolan - Rotten Tomatoe Ranking 74% - I definitely do not agree with the RTR, I really, really liked this movie. Bale and Jackman were superb in their roles, and you could feel the hatred between the two men, the revenge, the race to see who was the better man / magician. I loved the ending, I thought it was going to end a different way, but the twist was perfect. Again, highly recommended. Babel: Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu - Rotten Tomatoe Ranking 68% - I'm indifferent towards this movie. I hugely disliked anything with the Japanese deaf / mute girl, and the Mexican babysitter. I realise the connection between them, however it was absurd the amount of time they received compared to Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchette. This is dubbed as Pitt's "best film performance" my response: go watch Se7en, Fight Club, and Troy before making those claims. Not recommended. Marie Antoinette: Sofia Coppola - Rotten Tomatoe Ranking 53% - I thoroughly hated this movie. The fiancee wanted to watch it, so instead of hearing her complain about how we never watch the movies she wants to watch, I watched. Dunst isn't even that nice to look at, and I'm pretty sure that's not how it really happened. Fuckin' hollywood and it's lame ass alterted movies.

2/20: Lord Of The Wedding Ring

Our legal system continues to be the worst in the known world. So when either my mother, father, or fiancee die from cigarette smoking, I will sue, claiming "the labeling and misleading and we weren't aware that cigaretts are lethal over a long period of time". Fucking ridiculous. -

Suicide is a lame way out of life, and a person's hardships, but some people just don't have the will power to overcome their current situation. -

Astronauts having to land on an asteroid to deflect it from crashing into Earth? Yeah, we're definitely doomed. -
I am patiently awaiting the release of this movie. The director, Kevin Fincher also made Fight Club and Se7en, two of my top ten favorite movies. The preview alone has guranteed my viewing, let along Fincher directing it.

My theater wouldn't be open to the public, like I said kkk, my own personal theater. You know, if I was $$$$$$$ rich. Never going to happen, but one can dream. Sadly, I can't take your second bit of advice. One, I don't have any more comics to sell and I do live in an apartment complex. I don't think my neighbors would really care, I don't EVER see them.

Oh, and another thing, here's what I had to do to just sign up for boot camp: In June 2004, I weighed in at 307 pounds at my high school graduation. I went from 307 all the way down to 189 pounds on December 10th, 2004. As boot camp started, I weighed in at 188 pounds, and by boot camp graduation, I weighed 155 pounds! It's definitely a body altering experience.

Heh. I remember those days of a strict diet before going to North America's hardest boot camp. That's the price one pays for being lazy, and not really caring for their body. What coast are you going to for your basic training? If it's South Carolina, be fully prepared to be eaten alive by sand fleas, and if it's California, be fully expecting to have your legs nearly broken from shin splits due to the extreme hikes up the massive hills (which are more like small mountains). If you haven't figured it out, I was a United States Marine. I went to boot camp on 3 January, 2005, at the Recruit Depot, in San Diego. It was a marvelous experience, full of pain and suffering. The first day, first week, both black Fridays, and half way through, you'll be asking yourself what you've gotten yourself into. And, after boot camp, if you're lucky, you'll get recruiters assistance, which means an extra 1 to 2 weeks of leave. MCT, or SOI (if you're a grunt) is the next stage in your military career. I was a field artillery cannoneer, which equals the MCT route. MCT was the best time I had in the Marine Corps, I learned many weapon systems, did some in-depth MOUT, hard ass hikes, promoted to squad leader, and had a hell of a time. Next, unless you're a grunt, will be your MOS (Military Occupational Speciality) school. My school, unfortunately sucked. As stated earlier, I was an 0811, I shot the big ass cannon, the 155 mm M-198 medium towed Howitzer. The school is located in Lawton, Oklahoma, on a Army base. Being relatively fresh out of boot camp, it was ridiculous to see how easy the Army has it at boot camp, their Drill Seargeants are a joke, and a disgrace to the uniform, they are usually middle aged, out of shape, and Marine Corps Drill Instructor wannabees. After your MOS school, you'll go to the fleet, which is the golden land in the Marine Corps. Usually, at your MOS you will get the chance to choose what coast you want to be stationed at. I picked Camp Lejeuene, which is in North Carolina. Lejeune is a beautiful base, but not nearly the size of Camp Pendleton. Both bases, and geographical areas have their own flaws. Personally, I chose NC because it was easier to get home, which was in Michigan. Anyway, good luck at boot camp. Here's some advice, when the DI's ask for bodies, ALWAYS volunteer. I know your recruiter has probably said otherwise, but you'll regret it if you don't. Usually, a few days after you get to your training DI's, they assign billets. The billets are: scribe (guy who makes rosters, fire watch list) - whiskey pigs (guys who work in the storage room, and get the easy route) - house rats (if you're tiny, you'll get the chance to work in the duty hutt aka the DI's hang out) - linen recruit (whenever your platoon does linen laundry, you'll collect it all, take it to the washers, and wait for it). Also, get used to never saying: I, my, why, okay, whatever, YES, SIR!, etc.

I laughed my ass off watching this movie last night. It's gotten horrible reviews, and didn't do so well at the box office, regardless of all of that, I throughly enjoyed this movie last night. Dane Cook is hilarious, a comediac genious. Jessica Simpson is absolutely gorgeous, and plays her part fairly well. Andy Dick is awesome as the legally overly blind co-worker / weird and estranged friend, and Dax Shepherd plays his crazy cashier role to a tee. Most won't like this flim, however, if you want a good laugh, watch this movie.

Indeed. Wednesday: Valentine's Day. My fiancee got me a red rose, a gorilla w/ boxing gloves (teddy bear), my favorite gum, and a heart shaped baloon. My best Valentine's Day to date. I didn't really get her a present considering the food I bought for us for dinner, I did get her a romantic card though. I cooked two lobster tails, one was a 13 oz, and the other was 9 oz. I also cooked Two pounds of King Crab legs, and shrimp, along with a baby spinach salad. Dinner was amazing, with candles, the mood and atmosphere was out of this world! One of my fondest memories, and happiest times ever. We went out to the bar, and she got drunk, and I waited to get toasted until we got home, I decided to be the DD last night. Thursday: Had a job interview at Red Lobster. It went fantastic, I was immediately offered a position, at $8.50 an hour, which is a $1 pay cut for me, HOWEVER, I'll be working full-time, AND far less wear and tear on my car. I don't even need to drive to work, considering it's right across the street from me. Ten minutes ago, I called my father, he told me I had some mail at my old house, and I asked him to open it up and read it to me. I'm going to college for State Corrections, and the MDOC sent me an interview request for March, 7th. I am psyched. Things are starting to look great. And on a lesser note, I've been watching a ton of pre-split AJPW, and it's amazing.

I generally dislike theaters, only due to the other people in the audience. However, as I've stated, I love the surround sound, and darkness. It's always been a dream of mine to one day own a personal movie theater. That would be swank.
-
I usually won't go to the theaters if the movie doesn't have good / great reviews from creditable sources / review sites. By the way Mike, you're current avater, you look like Buh Buh Ray Dudley at first glance.
-
I guess I just like the movie so much, I don't realize how long it is. And yes, they do get away from Fight Club, but I think they made up for it with Project Mayhem. Have you read the book?
-
I generally go to the theaters, only because it's nice to get out of the apartment, it makes the 'ole lasy happy, and awesome surround sound and a pitch black room = great time. Fight Club peaks at #1 and Se7en at #3 - as of right now.

As the title states, I sold part of my life today. I've been an avid comic book collector since about the age of 5. I'm faced with hard and pressing times concerning money right now, and I had to find a way to get money very quickly. It sucks, but I'm a grown man, and I have to make sacrifices to make end's meat. And since I don't have steady employment, selling things is a short term fix while I locate employment. Just in case you're wondering, here's what I sold: Incredible Hulk # 181, 340 Giant Size X-Men # 1 Iron Fist # 14 Uncanny X-Men #'s 136, 137, 141, 142, 266, 282, 304 X-Men #'s: 25, 30, 150 Wolverine: #'s 10, 75, and a few others Daredevil: 1st apperance of Bullseye, death of Elecktra, and a few others I also sold ALL of my graphic novels, such as: Weapon X, Daredevil Visionaries 1 - 4, Batman: Dark Knight Returns, Kingdom Come, Watchmen, etc. All in all, a wonderful, and amazing comic book collection spanning 16 years.
