Ravens - Marvin's craziness aside, I like what the Ravens do on defense. The offense has to move the ball better and not wear them out and Flacco was decidedly off the last game. Still, he's a rookie who now has a playoff win under his belt. I'm picking the Ravens mainly because, well, Ed Reed. Flacco will hit one deep ball of the ones he missed against the Dolphins (cause the deep play was open, he just missed it) and that'll be the difference. But no disrespect to the Titans, I wouldn't be shocked if they won going anyway. But I'm still taking the Ravens. Ed Reed is just...damn. Chargers- Ben coming back after a concussion is all I need to know. The Steelers defense is great but I think Rivers and Sproles are on a mission to take what they feel they let slip away last year. I'll give it to the Chargers by a field goal. Giants- Giants are probably beyond tired of being told their defensive line isn't the same and a week of hearing about the surging Eagles is just going to piss them off more. The Eagles defense shut down the two headed monster of Peterson and Taylor so I know they can stop the two head the Giants offer up. The difference? Eli Manning isn't T Jack. It will be a great game but I'm giving it to the Giants. Andy Reid is going to get cute one of these games and I get the feeling this is the game he will. Cardinals- Why not? Colin Powell could not have expressed how dangerous it would be when the bandwidth was exceeded. This whole situation is such a fucking mess. Hamas launches rockets, knowing the Israeli government would launch back and kill civilians. Israel instead of just backing off and realizing all they should be doing is defensive stuff, goes on full scale attack which makes them out to be war hunger nuts. Hamas gets stronger in the eyes of an Arab world that already hates Israel. And the whole world turns violently on Israel, as well they probably should since their decision to go in only causes more innocent lives to fall. To this day, I really don't know what the fuck Israel is supposed to do. They aren't going to eliminate Hamas no matter what they try and every time they respond to a Hamas attack (which it seems some in the Arab world will ALWAYS feel is justified) they just lose support.

The Florida State Noles finished their average non-conference schedule up 13-2. So if they can somehow find 8 wins in conference then they should look a lot better in terms getting in the tourney. Wins over Cal, Cincy and Florida are actually pretty solid in the long run. They really need the tournament this year to save Hamilton as the head coach. Cause the idiot Seminole alumni don't realize that he is STILL the best they are going to get for recruiting players to come to FSU.

For a movie that opened average at best, "Yes Man" has held up surprisingly well. It wouldn't be a hit for Carrey but it's no longer the bust it was looking it would be. What I don't understand is how did BOLT cost 150 million dollars to make? How did Benjamin Button? I'm guessing actor fees and special effects which makes it make a little sense. But BOLT? Who the hell got the huge payday for that film?
