I'd be totally fine with a clown stable. As long as it doesn't have a midget clown, cause that just ruins the horrifying nightmare inducing fun.

Wrestling might be the only entertainment medium that can have plot holes with plot holes about the plot holes. Really when you think about it, the effort to totally explain nothing in a way that makes sense as long as you don't think about it too long and don't remember anything from a month or longer ago is amazing. It's ADD perfection. I'm now 100% convinced wrestling writers should get Emmy awards just for their ability to make you think something makes perfect sense when you damn well know it doesn't.

Looking at their situation again, I realized there is a lot still there they can work with if they get back a few key guys. Right now the Cards are 40 MILLION under the cap, that is a lot of wiggle room. To me, the best thing that may happen for them is Kurt Warner retire. Eventually they have to make that move to Hollywood Matty Von USC and not having to dish out money to Warner makes it a LOT easier. Breaston will need to move up to #2 and Early Doucet can take over the Breaston role at #3. With Fitz as your 1, that is a strong trio of receiver if Doucet grows into the role and shows positive gains. They are claiming they are going to push to give Boldin a bigger deal but I think he is an excellent bargaining chip right now instead. Get a first or second round pick with him in a late first-early second that will be LOADED with quality receivers if they need one. Pope or Patrick are interchangable, while Pope may command more money Patrick will not and ends up being a value selection. If they can't bring them both back, the low cost selection would be Patrick. Defensively, if they can get Dansby back then they aren't too bad. Berry was getting up there in years and there might be some good defensive lineman in the late first round. If not, Julius Peppers would be sitting there to give them a strong pass rushing defensive end and he'd probably only be a slight increase on what Berry would demand from them. Antonio Smith, again, is much like Berry in the replaceable department. Out of all of their free agents, upon further review I'd say only Dansby is a must have return. Warner is not, James can leave since he's basically just a power back right now, Boldin could be trade bait to give them more draft flex, and with the extra cap they might be able to actually IMPROVE.

Question for those who might have gotten it. Lost Planet, the PS3 version, is it any good? I'm trying to find a game to suggest to my girl that we'll both enjoy. She's burned out on FPS (as am I), already conquered Sword, Row 2 and Drake, and she's wearing down on the sports games. She wants another game like the three she already topped out but I can't figure out which one to tell her is worth it. It's been narrowed down to Lost Planet, Devil May Cry 4 and Prince of Persia. The only strike against Persia right now is price (60 bucks) while the other two come in under 30 with her 15 buck gift card. I just haven't a clue which of those will be the most fun.

You heard whether or not he's getting that FX show or not? Cause Norm following Sunny would be a outstanding comedy block. And anything that gets Testees away from being an hour is a positive.

Sheets could easily get two years if he could prove his arm isn't about ready to detach from his body and fly into the stands. But he can't.

I didn't realize how badly the Cards probably needed to win the Super Bowl this year. Usually you can say "Well, they have talent so maybe they can get back next year" but damn...a LOT of key free agents! QB- Kurt Warner RB- Edge James (just leaving), J.J Arrington FB- Terrelle Smith WR- Anquan Boldin (annoyed, already has requested trades) TE- Leonard Pope, Ben Patrick and Stephen Spach C- All of em DE- Bertrand Berry LBs- Monty Biesel, Karlos Dansby Warner is either going to retire or they might look at this as a way to hand over the keys. Tim Hightower looks set to be the guy at running back and Arrington was essentially a return man and expendable. Losing Boldin might be ok if Breaston develops more and they find another to fit the three wide set. They need Pope and Patrick back, they are solid blockers and Patrick proved in the Super Bowl he can catch a very tough ball. Berry and Dansby are must signs to me, you cannot lose the two anchors in the front 7. It'll be interesting to see how the Bidwell clan and Hunt handle this. While some are not a big deal to lose, some of those losses could be devastating.

Shia LaBeouf is Larry Fitzgerald in "Kurt Warner: A Cardinal tale", coming soon to a theater near you.

Wait..he was cracking jokes? Really? I don't think I noticed one. I thought Anthony Anderson was the "comedy" in the first one?

She'll be European this time. Who gets to be the zany black comic relief guy?

Didn't you learn anything from Angels in the Outfield? Championships have to be one on their own...except when playing the Eagles. Jesus hates those fucking Eagles. The cliche for me is "extra motivation for this title game now". Should you ever need more motivation to win a fucking title? Winning the Super Bowl isn't enough, no it's all about whether the other team said something bad about your long snapper's ability to get the ball to the punter or they said they didn't love your cesspool city. You know, the one most of the players don't even live in when they play for a team.

For me the most anti-climatic moment of the night was the reveal that "G" is fucking Gatorade. I was thinking cool clothing line or maybe a new cologne but nope...Gatorade. This is the first Super Bowl where about 5 guys could have been giving the MVP. Harrison for his return, Holmes for his last drive, Big Ben for his final drive, Warner for just going all Disney movie with depressing ending and Fitz for making those two touchdown grabs at the end.

Tony Dungy says hi. "He's not real black" - Yes, I've heard that argument from quite a few twits this week.

A review with zero announcement that takes like 10 seconds? On the deciding play of the Super Bowl? Wow, that's just crazy. I really don't know if it would have been overturned (that rule is iffy as hell) but still...damn. Still though, that was the definition of amazing games. Two teams playing hard as they could and even though the Steelers James Harrison went into thug mode near the end, it was a outstanding. Kurt Warner should retire. Throwing for 377 yards with three touchdowns in the Super Bowl? Two turnovers (questionable on the second one) but just an unbelievable performance.

Why do I get the feeling Dennis Quaid is going to eat a bullet so "Cobra Commander" can be revealed? -
I still say the first one was 30 minutes away from being a great movie. But that entire middle thirty minutes of piss jokes and Transformer prat falls was beyond brutal to watch. Nevermind Shia, who I am still not understanding what people find so amazing about his acting.

What sucks even more is he's awesome on the A&E show "The Beast"

My Madden seems to hate Dwayne Jarrett. In three of my franchises, his career is already over. Once he didn't get two games into his rookie season, another he lasted a year before getting a career ending injury in the preseason and in another he lasted until year two week 15 before they ended it. I'm glad I've never been the Panthers, I'd be pissed by now.

Jackson isn't made for MMA. He's a karate man! "The next defender that comes at you free, sweep the leg and hit the check down receiver."
-
Cause the Steelers are a defensive team and the Cardinals are offensive. There is no such thing as a winning "strong defense" team in Madden. It just refuses to let it happen. In one of my season, the Jags were by far the best defense in the league and they stepped into the first round of the playoffs against a Jim Sorgi led no Joseph Addai, Wayne or Harrison Colts and the Colts scored 35. For no other reason that I can tell other than Madden figures the Colts score a lot of points and the Jaguars are just defense. A massively fast, hard hitting defense does not exist in Madden.

Watching the Noles letting a lead slip away to North Carolina again was disappointing. If anything is going to cost the coach his job is the Noles cannot finish games when they have the lead. They are more likely to let a close game slip away than they are to go for the exclamation mark and end it.

Well, least now we know the name of the nanny. Mrs. ChloDuct Throatslit of Florida, famous for her outstanding work keeping children so quiet that you don't even hear them breathing.
-
To be fair to the guy, his quarterback last season for the most part was Ryan Fitzpatrick and his running back ended up being Cedric Benson. That's a lot to overcome offensively so that might be what they are looking at in terms of why he wasn't fired. And don't the Bengals really need a running back? Chris Perry is probably not it, Cedric Benson I doubt is it (and might not even be re-signed) and so that is looking like a gap to fill as well.

Well..he could always pull the "still in character" thing since Ram would fully embrace the scummy upper rung of the world no matter how life threatening.

This game was the main reason I bought World Tour. Glad to see the song list is going to pay off. Of course, I miss the hilarity of not getting to play "St. Anger" though.
