I would be very surprised if they get much of anything for Carr in a trade. What incentive do teams have to trade anything of value for him, knowing that the Texans will have to dump him now? Knowing the Texans, they'll just release him and get nothing for him. The writer from NFL.com who broke the Schaub trade story was on the Dan Patrick Show this afternoon. He said that the Texans are trying their hardest to move Carr but have received literally zero interest. In trading for Schaub they've handcuffed themselves because of the $6.75 million that Carr is set to make this year. Every team now knows that the Texans can't afford to pay that to him to sit on the bench. Why would you trade picks and/or talent for Carr when you can get him for nothing in a couple of weeks? Bad planning on Houston's part. That would imply there was planning put into this decision. Everything about this looks like they panicked when Jake told everyone he was really done with football. So the jumped the first hype train to Atlanta, got mugged on the ride back with the barely proven but lots of potential Schuab, and then realized, "Oh shit, we forgot to deal Carr first!" I think they'll move him on draft day, probably for a fourth or fifth rounder at best. Unless they can get in touch with Matt Millen, he might be stupid enough to give them the Lions first round pick for Carr.

Marv, it's hard to defend the Orioles on potential alone when their prospects have rarely lived up to their potential. Sure, they have the potential of three great starters but that's been a familiar song and dance. Your best bet? Make your pick, shut your mouth, hope they deliver on the potential and then just smile knowing you called it and enjoy it. Arguing potential against proven is a losing war man. The O's offense has potential to do things. But it is a lot of ifs. If they get all the ifs in order? Sure, anything is possible but it would require a lot. A full healthy very productive season from both Hernandez and Huff. Markakis and Patterson to continue to eccel. Mora and Miggy to come up better in the clutch, Roberts to get his speed back and remain healthy. There isn't question that Loewen, D-Cab and Bedard have the POTENTIAL to be good to great pitchers but that's also a leap of faith betting on potential alone since they could also end up being complete busts. The Pirates pitchers have potential, doesn't mean people are going to peg them to win the World Series and they have actually added some nice pieces. The O's are a wait and see situation. Getting a pick of 3rd is a damn miracle based on potential alone. Be fine with the fifth place predictions, if they are wrong then the confusion is priceless enough. Gotta deal with the reality the O's are still a LOT more question marks than answers.

But that's all it is... hype. In his career, Schaub has thrown 161 passes and completed just 52% of them. He has 6 career touchdowns and 6 career inteceptions. He had an average college career and a decent showing in some preseason games. Other than being a sexy name, I don't know what he offers over David Carr. Three less years of a sack destroyed body. Course, he'll catch up on that REAL fast since the Texans don't seem to be planning on making one damn move for offensive line. Except maybe Joe Thomas. So Matt will be either dead or injured by the midway point of the season. Poor Matt, the Falcons sent him to die. Damn shame really, I thought they liked the guy. Now where does David Carr go? Green Bay? Oakland? Minnesota? Where?

The award for Worst Faked Orgasm in the history of television and film must go to Minnie Driver. That episode was laughably bad and her acting has been extremely hit or miss. Izzard has been great, the oldest son is still a dick, the Gypsies are annoying but when aren't they and overall it's holding me. But wow, this show is really needing Eddie to carry it a bit longer until hopefully the cast of characters improves.

THE EDGE was named. I want to know who this THE EDGE fellow is. He sounds exciting. ESPN's phrasing was so nice. "A number of wrestlers have died because of steroid abuse, but the question is should we really care that wrestlers use steroids?" Nah, people dying is fun.

If it all leads to the WWE telling security that anyone who chants "steroids", "Roids", "get the needle", or any variation at any of their wrestlers during shows should be removed from the building then it'll go from sad to hilarious.

Probably more along the lines of him needing eight different prescriptions, which shows that he was a very hardcore user of steroids compared to the other guys. When everyone else is on one or two and you have the whole damn buffet of them next to your name, you are going to be the one they focus on. And didn't the E change their wellness policy to where if you violate it, you still work but you don't get paid? So really, what difference would it have made if this was recent?

It looks like it has potential to be a great cap to the series. As long as it's more Depp and less Bloom. However, it also has that pointless scene feeling that happened with the wheel scene in part two. I'll go see it because it looks fun enough, but I'll keep my aims low. Just hope they don't do something stupid like release a trailer giving away the Keith Richards parts. They have done a good job keeping those secret so here's hoping they continue to be secret.

I just assumed Audrey was traded along with some other things for Jack's life. And what the hell was UP with his brother's wife? I mean seriously I know she hated her husband and all, but come on. It was still Jack's brother and he's been dead less than six hours. You think she could wait a day to move in on Jack.

So Delaware has decided they are finally going to use their eminent domain rights by basically announcing a plan to kick a good number of us out of our homes for a road. This is a some maffia crap they are doing to achieve it as well. They froze property values because they don't want the value of our homes going up. Which is really nice since they already announced the whole state as beach front property about a year ago to up property values around us but those with homes saw no increase. We asked why and they just said it was an oversight. Yeah, looks like it was. And even after they take the homes and destroy them, they won't have the money to pay us for the value they set (which will be a low ball ass rape I'm sure) until sometime in 2013 or later because the road they are building will put the state in DEBT. All home loans are froze, well except for the fact we have to keep paying them but they don't really register since the state will offset the cost of the home they plan to take with the loan value. So say you have a 40,000 dollar loan right now and you have been paying it for about two years, you still officially owe 40,000 dollars because it's officially frozen. Loans for improvements will need to be continued to be paid, but you don't get the money. The road they are planning does nothing, literally does nothing but cost the state 300 million dollars (not counting the payment for the land they must buy and the homes they must take) and go in a circle to create a new traffic jam. We are having a meeting, but it doesn't matter because we are already dead in the water. Del Dot has never listened to the people of this county and they aren't about to start now. My parents are going to lose the home they built with their bare hands, the house where I got engaged by a beautiful creek and everything important happened at. My uncle is going to lose the home where we spent the final days with one of my other uncles and just basically our family will be divided completely now. I'M losing MY land because it just barely touches the edge of their stupid plan as well. We won't be able to buy land or a home in Delaware because of the property value increases (homes here now cost in the upper 300,000 range not counting land) and we won't even be given money to BUY anything anyway. This sucks.
