They got to the SEC final. They had a solid 35 RPI and a SOS at 15 so I guess they were deserving enough. Both numbers ended up being better than the Cuse and the Drexel Dragons. There tournament run took them from dead in the water to into the NCAA tournament. That's how it goes.

This year feels like you have the problem where you can make a case for every bubble team. Last year, a couple of teams you couldn't make a case for if you tried for hours. I honestly don't know who the hell gets in. I think G Tech should be the only lock considering who they had to beat to even remain on the bubble but I'm not part of the selection process. I really am not getting the K-State thing except they might get to play the famous coach card although said famous coach doesn't exactly have the greatest resume of success in the NCAA tournament. Last year they said out of conference schedule was the most important thing. We'll see if that holds water or if they have decided to go for something else.

I've always feel like they decided on seeding before the conference tournaments even started and they just slap in the bubble teams to the holes they leave. I really feel like they pick more on who matches up best with the team they already rated in than RPI or SOS or any of that crap. If your team seems to have the right pieces to match-up well and your record looks mildly impressive, you'll be in. At the rate things are going though, NC State is going to get in and blow the hell outta everything.

Which version? My fiancee got the PSP version. And how much are you asking?

John Popper is becoming a rapper? At the very least, it might make him relevant again. Relevant enough for the Current Events folder? Not likely. Might want to transfer this one to the good old music section.

And Ahmed was much better looking in the face and had bigger breasts.

In the "no surprise" department, the Noles for the second year in a row pulled up lame with a chance to make a statement. Thornton struggled and fouled out, they were bouncing the ball off their foot and each time they charged within something, they would throw it away and just look like a team scared and confused. So for the second year in a row, they probably managed to play themselves out of the tournament. Their SOS was strong, RPI ended up so so and they got some help with other bubble teams pulling up lame and limping to the line as well. I don't know, I think the losses by Duke and Maryland really killed them in the long run. Shame, I really wanted Thornton to get one more shot as seeing him sitting there trying to hide his tears was depressing. That guy did all he could for three straight games and carried the team all year but he just ran out of gas when he needed it most. Ah well, they are really going to suck badly without him.

Every lower seed in the ACC tournament advanced. That's just damn unreal and really shows how tight this conference really was and can be. There really isn't that much of a talent difference from 5 to 12 although Duke will have the built in excuse of no Henderson. And no way after knocking off NC and BC, even if the games were at home, does GT not make the tournament. I just cannot see that happening. Florida State needs a big showing tomorrow at noon. Almost every other bubble team left the door wide open for them to sneak into the tournament now. I don't think they can beat UNC but I'm hoping they can make it tight and hard fought at least cause I want Al Thornton in the NCAA tournament.

Least Raven looks like he's in shape...not that he'll do anything, but at least he's in shape.

That was an awesome scene in Dream Warriors man.

Now he needs to dump her, get Petra Nemcova away from James Blunt and knock her up. Work his way through the whole catalog! Tom Brady: The Model Filler

A library would probably explode if you access this place. See you in July dude, enjoy Portland and good luck with whatever position you get.

Miami got all of the big men back against Florida State so they aren't exactly a roll over team right now. I'm not shocked they blew Maryland out at all. Looks like Maryland is rallying. The Terps are sleepwalking but they are getting back into it. It's really strange but it's now 62-60 Miami with 59 seconds.

Florida State tops Clemson, 67-66, to eliminate Clemson from the NCAA tournament more than likely and keep FSU on life support for at least one more game. I say one more game because NC is going to roll them. I hope they don't but I'm not crossing my fingers there. Thornton again led all FSU scorers with 25 points, including the game winning free throw. But POY was Jared Dudley even though most had Thornton as the leader. Eh, Dudley's Eagles had a better overall season so I guess it makes sense.

You probably are right, although does Mondale count since he was a VP just three years before the 84 election? Who's next after Mondale if you discount him for being a VP? Anyone?

To further prove that spring training tends to be meaningless and shouldn't be taken seriously: Sammy Sosa has two home runs. Granted it could also mean he's no longer afraid of the fast balls and the year off actually helped him get his head back on straight, but it could also just mean it's Spring Training. You be the judge.

Only one I really remembered was Michael Dukakis and I know he wasn't the front runner. He just ended up being the last man standing when Biden, Jesse Jackson and Gary Hart imploded for a list of reasons. Hart's reasons being the most fun. And I think Hart and Mondale ended up being neck and neck at the start with Mondale pulling away late.

Violation of the freedom of the press, so it won't happen and the Supreme Court would never uphold it. The media has always influenced elections and that'll never change. Who they like is who we are going to be forced to like cause no one else will be seen. It's not right and basically it requires citizens to take a more active approach and use their own common sense instead of what the head in the picture box tells them. Some do it, others don't. But no law will ever be proposed to fight it.

He faked cancer. This might be the only time I could honestly think of where Ron Simmons needed a guest spot just to say, "DAMN!" in the bottom of the screen. Faked cancer to get high or make friends, that's gotta be the strangest way ever...wish I thought of it.

Not sure how he can even get up high enough to be considered for the bust tag. Right now, Troy has the "great college quarterback, not NFL material" feeling hanging over him. I say the bust will be Brady Quinn. I really have nothing to base this but I'm still saying Brady is the bust.

Ghost Rider is pretty cool when he's in Rider form and just the overall Nick Cage overacting. But the villians and the parts with the "love" story are a joke. Hell, the contract signing scene is laughable since he signs nothing. I'll go see a sequel though since the Rider effects are pretty bad ass.

One is used for an increase in body and muscle mass while the other can be used to increase bone density and muscle growth. It's possible he just used them to rebuild muscle mass after losing some because of the neck injury.

It's not where you were, it's where you are. All that will be mentioned is TNA wrestler Kurt Angle took steroids. Which really isn't a surprise since muscle and girth is a huge part of remaining in wrestling.

The movie is mostly Jim Carrey reads a book, then you get some twisted goofy mystery that really isn't that interesting. Carrey does well but the script just isn't there. It's almost like two movies mixed into one movie and one of the movies just plain sucks. Inoffensive enough for a rental or a cheapy theater look but not worth a full ticket price.
