I don't think I ever heard a gurgle like that before from the guillotine. I thought he had no shot of getting out once they rolled and you saw Bonner's face So now we have Swick, Shoenauer, Southworth and Hoger to put together the last two fights for the finale. I have to think they'll go Southworth/Hoger after the last couple episodes.

I thought it was a fine stoppage. Anytime you crumple the way Hoger did it gives the appearance of being finished and then when he just turtled right away, instead of grabbing a hold of Forrest, it probably confirmed in McCarthy's eyes he was done.

Charlie Manuel announced today that Placido Polanco is going to be the starting 2B tomorrow. The one reason that Polanco should be starting is if they are platooning and a lefty is up tomorrow. That is not the case which is not a good sign on how they plan on using Utley. I would throw a shit fit, but honestly I expected it because heaven forbid you sit the man with "veteran presence". Does not give me much hope that anything will be different from last year, got to have the veterans (lord knows Lieby, Thome, Bell, Lofton and Abreu isn't enough veteran presence in the starting 8).

Well there was the typical UFC garbage judge. At least it was only one of them that was a tool. Fucking Southworth saying it was a bullshit decision. I did not have that much of a problem with him until now. Little whiny bitch.

So with the triple takedown score and the failed submission deductions that was a 13-4 round for Koscheck.

At this point I think Koscheck needs to finish it, as I think it is 2-0 Sanchez. Sanchez is active, unlike Leben so I don't see Koscheck scoring for just the takedown and then doing jack. He had some solid leg kicks early in round 2, but followed it up with nothing so I doubt it left that much of an impression on the judges. But again being UFC judges they probably gave Koscheck triple bonus for the takedown and ignored the attempted, but failed submission attempts from the bottom.

Shit, if the fight is starting already I smell some more Koscheck lay and pray coming.
