We've got a bye in the Johnstone Paint Trophy/LDV/Auto Windscreen, hopefully this'll be our last time in the stupid thing.

Bret was the one who usually got the pin, Neidhart was the one beat when Strike Force and the Nastys won the tag Belts.

http://www.crewealex.premiumtv.co.uk/page/...~899197,00.html Crewe posted a list of all scouts at their match tonight, nice to see us watching them for the upcoming game. Thought all tonight did was confirm what a lot already know, the FIFA one was a lot better. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/panorama/5070224.stm

Watching Juventus on Eurosport 2 right now, Juventus could really have Loaned out Buffon for the season and stuck a reserve in, when Juve are in control the game goes to walking pace.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/5357822.stm That's Showunmi's agent, Newell said a few months ago that Enoch was being offered to other clubs while under contract, hope neither him or Bristol City are mentioned tonight, last thing we need.

Early November is my guess, hope Sega promotes the game more now they own SI, there's still people out there buying CM instead of FM. "News of a brand new SI football based game which will be released this year" From todays blog, could be another quiz game.

What was Brunt doing on the bench the other night? I thought he was one of your better players. Thought the only difference with you and Hull was Myhill(we had him on loan sitting on the bench for 3 months) and Parkin who I can see at a Reading or Charlton next summer.

Up to 3rd now, todays 11 consisted of an academy graduate,2 Bosmans, 6 Free Transfers(Johnson and McAllister have sell ons in their deals from Hearts) and 2 players costing money(Brooker 225k and McCombe about 20k)

"Following on from the successful introduction of manager interaction with last years game, this year comes player interaction, and not just your own players, but players throughout the whole football world. There's all sorts of things you can talk to players about, and it's different for different groups of players. You can talk to them both face-to-face, or through the media, and they do the same. You can ask them to recommend players or staff to join the club, which might make it easier for them to settle in or get back into good form. You can ask them to help train a youngster, suggest that they go into coaching or management in the future, try and tap up players at other clubs through the media, talk to them about new contracts or answer all kinds of questions they might come up with. Warn them about resting so as to stop them from becoming unhappy (although, as with anything else in the game, the players personality and mood at the time will determine whether this make him more or less happy), comment on their form to give them a much needed morale boost or a kick up the fuss. Ask for tips on who might be a danger man or weak link for the forthcoming match, to give you the chance to unsettle them or make them complacent, or ask a senior member of the squad to have a team meeting when things are going wrong to try and sort out morale problems. There can be negative or positive effects, and you might find strained relationships with other clubs and managers if you use it on their players too much, such as the refusal by that club dealing with you on transfers, or a backlash with them putting in bids for lots of your players. Every action has a consequence. But then the opposite can happen if you work it well, and you might be more likely for a player to join you on loan over other clubs due to the good relationships that you have." Asking players to take up coaching should be good, before if you wanted a long serving player to stay on you had to offer a player/coach deal and wait years for the stats to go up while paying them player wages. Feeder clubs is tomorrow.

League 1 is really awful this season, we're 7th now despite losing half of our matches and having our only senior Right Back inside, our 01-03 team would have walked it this season. Last night was only memorable for Jamie McCombe, 6'7 and looked good in the air(like Carey) and good on the deck(like Fontaine) can see why he was Lincoln captain and player of the season last year.

Complaining against Refs is back in and the FA can now give touchline bans. Based on the bit below it also looks like Press Conferences and Interviews are in. "With post match interviews a part of the game and the real football world, it could be that one of your players complains about the decision in a post match interview. It could be that you're asked your opinion on the decision. Not just ones for your team, but against your team too."

http://www.myspace.com/sigames The new youth system sounds nice, should stop me getting Youth team strikers with 3 finishing and 13 for tackling.

Let the game pick for you. "Theres more things for advanced users, with new advanced game modes, including the possibility of the ultimate challenge, with random team selection where the computer chooses which team you should manage as well as the ability to have dual nationalities, just like the players inside the game."

http://www.myspace.com/sigames Has some more info on the features this year, finally you can move stadiums and have club takeovers(the new board might even sack you if they want their own man) Information about the feeder club system is posted on Friday.

They did have a match on Challenge while Steamboat was champ, Reed dominated the match until the count out finish.

Shipping Non EU players on loan to my feeder club for a Permit is something I've wanted for years, being able to talk direct to a player should also be good if the options are based on Ages and Length of Service at current club. Here's some pics to show both work http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/8101/pl...aiseownplay.jpg http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/8101/pl...aiseownplay.jpg http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/7240/pl...aiseotherpl.jpg http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/3572/pl...arnfromolde.jpg http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/3572/pl...arnfromolde.jpg http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/8866/in...ayersfm075p.jpg http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/6051/feederclubfm071bo.jpg http://img427.imageshack.us/img427/6364/fe...ffiliate6kh.jpg http://img427.imageshack.us/img427/2922/fe...est2fm070ub.jpg http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/8113/feed...uestfm075fo.jpg http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/8830/fe...clubfm074wy.jpg http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/8550/fm2007german13hr.jpg http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/556/fm2007german23xz.jpg http://img278.imageshack.us/img278/8472/fm2007german40hp.jpg http://img331.imageshack.us/img331/5918/fm2007german55bx.jpg Edit: I'd give them 1 year deals on about 25-30k a week, Min fee release of 3 million each so that the fee they receive is the same as the cut they'll get from MSI, including MSI as a non playable club would solve the lot with all the players they own but isn't possible for time and legal reasons.
-
Our debt is about -£4/5m with a lot of that out the chairmans pocket, only players we've paid money for this year are Noble and Fontaine, Hearts gave us Johnson Jr and McAllister on frees with sell ons included. The Goalie thing you have is just like us, we can produce lots of good players in the Academy but every keeper from it ends up at our local non league sides, instead we get young Loanees like Ben Foster and Boaz Myhill who usually sit on the bench for their spell and then go back.

Felt weird playing on one, last year we had Partridge, Wilkshire, David Rhys George Best Cotterill(His full name) in the full squads and Jennison and Scott Golbourne in the England youths(with Theo Walcott) http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,277-2340557,00.html "Unfortunately, first Chelsea — after a whistlestop scouting trip by Jose Mourinho — and then Manchester United, Sevilla, AS Roma and Arsenal refused to meet the asking price.By the early hours of Thursday morning, MSI had been reduced to offering what amounted to glorified loan deals to Portsmouth and West Ham until Pompey balked at the stringent terms." What's the Pompey fans view on that?
-
Didn't he spend 3 million on Horsfield and Akinbiyi instead of buying Cameron Jerome? We've got only 5 strikers, one injured, one at Yeovil with us paying 50% of his wages, one inside, one who's showed none of his Yeovil form and one's a 18 year old who's best used as an impact sub. Edit: Forgot about your Striking situation, how much money do you have to spend?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/bristol/5306506.stm Least it takes Showunmi off the Left Wing into Brooker's place for a month, Jennison should get his chance to shine.

"West Ham United are delighted to announce the double signing of Argentinian World Cup stars Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano from Brazilian club Corinthians. The pair have been signed for an undisclosed fee and put pen to paper on permanent contracts with the Club this afternoon. All other aspects of the transfers will remain confidential and undisclosed" Baffles me, MSI must have some involvment there now(they tried a takeover before) like they did at Corinthians, the contract not being mentioned is odd, guess the contract length isn't to long. Edit: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...tic/5304238.stm God bless Wigan, 2 million with a sell on clause for a winger who can't cross a ball.
-
Shame we know what happens next year * Roman owns 15% in MSI * MSI loan two of there best assets to a non Chelsea rival * West Ham don't have 30 million to buy the two after the loan terminates * Roman is a fan of these two * Both sign for Chelsea next summer with West Ham getting someone like SWP for a cheaper fee than any other club

Good Result last night, the 2nd half performance after the "fight" could be the seasons turning point, Jennison looks really good on the left, if he moves on to the right club I could see him getting an England cap by the time he's 25. Love how Sky judge a player on 1 game, example being "that's what I like about Cotterill, there's always an end product", if Dave had an end product he'd be at one of the clubs who send scouts to our place(Tottenham always have one down here)
-
We're on Sky Sports 2 tonight, don't judge us on the goalie, he's only cover until our first choice gets fit, he's the main reason we're bottom of the League(Rotherham on -3 don't count as they've still got 7 points) as well as Johnson not signing a winger and/or Ball winning midfielder. The midfield's bad as well, instead of Lampard and Gerrard we've got Noble and Johnson Jr, guess which one the fans think should be on the bench?
