Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story
Brush with Greatness replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Television & Film
Didn't we have this exact same thread a few months ago when this was leaked? -
Is it just me, or is there a big difference between the people misquoting Kanye in this thread and saying that Kanye said "George Bush hates black people", when in reality he said "George Bush doesn't care about black people." BIG difference to me, maybe I'm crazy.

Slurpee Indians, not Casino Indians! Okay, I know I'm not the only one whose seen this, so let's get some love going on for this flick here.

Now, a purely hypothetical situation here, but for instance, is there any sort of security issues or any other issues (apart from moral) with leeching off of someone else's unprotected wireless network connection? Furthermore, is there any way for someone to recognize an individual logging onto their connection?

New Orleans Is Sinking Really interesting article that pretty much predicts this. The article date is somewhat eerie too. As it stands, is the city really worth rebuidling? I mean, with the city legitimately sinking and some experts calling for it to be the next Atlantis within 50-100 years should they rebuild it for the time being? Furthermore, even if you don't abide by that theory, studies show that hurricanes of Category 4 or stronger make landfall within 100 miles of New Orleans about once every 35 years, so with that being the case it almost seems pointless to try and rebuild. The bigger question though is, how long do you think it will take CBS to pump this out as a movie of the week?

Again, hypothetically speaking here, but wouldn't someone who is smart enough to access the configuration page be smart enough to actually, you know, secure the network?

The best thing Toad the Wet Sprocket ever did was their cover of Kiss' "Rock n' Roll All Nite"

I was sort of hoping that the Right Guard Challenge was going to be a game of red rover. As it is, two lacklustre rounds so far. I thought Melvin would at least have some explosiveness in him. So far he seems like a shittier version of Kevin Randleman (and I'm not a big Monster fan to begin with).

The Aristocrats (ta-da)
Brush with Greatness replied to Brush with Greatness's topic in Television & Film
No doubt most of the versions are similar. But it's the many great variations that make the movie good. Naturally, Carlin's is awesome, the animated South Park is great, the mime, the card trick, the dummy's not bad, Sarah Silverman's take, I thought the stuff with the two comics with their kids, Saget's, etc. A lot of good stuff in there. And yeah, the "Your zippers undone and your dick's hanging out" joke is good stuff too. Oh, and the Popeye forearms. -
Alright, can someone fill me in on the benefits of both and if one style is better than the other?

I agree with the above post. I caught an episode here and there in season 2's initial run (including an episode that aired the other night) and just didn't find the show that funny. It wasn't until I viewed the first season that everything comes together and makes sense. Before you judge it you should really check out the complete first season, because the same episodes in season 2 that made me go, "what the fuck, why's that funny?" now have me laughing. BTW, a specific episode was Emmy nominated? (I don't know how the Emmy's work) What episode was it? The "Teaching Lesson's" one?

Now, I know this won't happen, but for some reason let's say that Pedro wants to go in as an Expo. Would that be possible and has a similar situation ever happened before?

Upcoming DVD Releases (Part 2)
Brush with Greatness replied to Hank Kingsley's topic in Television & Film
Hoop Dreams Criterion Collection came out this week, but I'm not competent enough to add in the images, features, etc. Would be great if someone could though because it's a very deserving release. -
Now that hockey's R&D camp is over

On the whole tie issue, I would much rather see sudden death overtime every game than have games go to a shootout. The big complaint is that there are "flights to make, etc". Hell, in baseball, games go 17 innings sometimes. Where are the flights to make there. Furthermore, if the NHL cut down the season to 72 games, this would save a lot of the travel time. And finally, cutting the rosters down to 16 skaters instead of 18 would also mean that the benches wouldn't be as fresh late in the game/overtime and lead to more errors and scoring opportunities as a result. I would think a flight to make would be a little added incentive for the team to "go for it" so to speak and try to win the game. As for other rules, I'm with nxls5x1 on most cases. I like Sinden's thinking along the tag up offside, no touch icing, no redline. Furthermore, if you tightened up on obstruction, disallowed icing while on the PK, and enforced a penalty the full two minutes regardless of it the team scores or not (seeing as how this is the way it used to be) this would open up things a lot as well. -
Even the scene with Warrick telling Nick about nearly getting in the fight was very QT. Just Warrick's delivery and such reminded me alot of Vincent/Jules. Also, when I we were little, a friend of mine had that Dukes of Hazzard game.

The MMA QUADRUPLE shot~!
Brush with Greatness replied to RavishingRickRudo's topic in General Wrestling
Hell, I thought the Joe Dirt fight was pretty good. Just because of how close he apparently seemed to coming to getting knocked out, and then finally pulling off the rear naked choke for the win, after he couldn't finish him off the first time in that position. Maybe we were just more into it because he's a fellow Manitoban. -
I've had it since late November and still haven't beaten it. However, I didn't play it at all from just before Chrismas until about 2 weeks ago. I always thought that you had to find a low rider and then drive up to the low riders races. And the second Wuzi race was the only mission I had left at all on the map, so I just got frustrated and quit, because by the time I would get to the race my car would be pretty much trashed to begin with and I'd always end up wrecking the car in the race. After discussing the game with someone recently, it was brought to my attention that you can just walk into the "red mission light" and a car will be supplied to you. Needless to say, I promtly beat the race on the first try.

The MMA QUADRUPLE shot~!

So has UFC officially moved all their PPV's to Saturday nights now or what? When was the last time they ran a Friday show. It must have been almost a year back. It seemed like they were always Friday's for awhile. Anyone care to enlighten me on this logic. -
Of course Sylvia v. Mir was a work. You're telling me that people thought his arm was really broken? That was just an angle to buy Sylvia some time to get cleaned up because he still had some steroids in his system.

If I may make a suggestion here... IMPLANTS -
Does anyone remember how far into the show the Forest/Steph fight started? If the replay starts tonight at 10:00 Eastern, when would the Forest/Steph fight start?

A question regarding the Pride Grand Prix. The date listed here is April 23rd, which I believe is a Saturday. However, will this be like standard Pride cards where it airs in North America on Sunday night? -
And you thought you heard enough about steroids...

In regards to Haslett's comments, surprise surprise. I was telling everyone that two months ago. Yet for some reason everyone ripped on me for speculating that Walter Payton was on the juice. -

RRR, I can't believe you didn't mention Robbie Lawler v. Aaron Riley from UFC 37 in your list there. -
That shade of blue isn't actually bad. And most ice is white. But I still don't see, in experimenting with that why they couldn't still use the blue and red lines. Those orange lines looked ugly.
