All the reports make it sound like the crowd is reacting to VERY little tonight. I guess Cole did what he always did, giving away the finish by doing the "Well, John Cena put up a valiant effort, but now it's over..." thing near the end of the match.

Better to put Cena over clean and start setting up HBK/Angle tomorrow night on RAW.

Just got back, and it looks like Meltzer and Keller aren't digging the show. How about you guys that are watching? The whole CW thing gets NINE MINUTES? For FIVE MATCHES? Ugggh...they shouldn't have added Booker T vs. Heidenreich... So was London channeling Jimmy Jacobs tonight or what? Anything good on the show yet?

Anyone find a free stream yet? I'm thinking it should be an okay PPV, definitely a better SD PPV than Armageddon, that's for sure. Oh yeah, Romero said on Heat that the tag team title match was kicking off the show.

So yeah, I'm not gonna spend $35 to watch this. But if anyone finds a free stream, I'd check it out. I think most of the results on the show are pretty obvious. I'm curious what happens in the CW title match, though. And we should get a good idea by the booking of Booker/Heidenreich if they're giving up on Heidenreich as a major heel, or if his push is only beginning...

I've always heard that Morgan's work as babyface champ in OVW was excellent.

I hadn't seen this posted here, but Meltzer has been reporting for a few weeks now that Matt Morgan and Kevin Fertig (he was Mordecai, of course) are being brought in as a masked heel monster tag team. They were using the names Blueprint and Vengeance in OVW, respectively. I assume they'll be in WWE very soon. No idea which brand they'll be on.

I could be wrong, but I don't think he had debuted in the ring yet. Wasn't his first match at Mania? No, he beat Mankind at Survivor Series 1997 and beat Vader at No Way Out 1998, plus had other squashed I believe.

Does anyone know why Kane wasn't in the 1998 Royal Rumble? The only reason I can think of is that he would have had to have been eliminated, and they wanted him to look totally dominant going into WM against Taker.

I don't see HBK interfering in Angle/Cena. Why not put Cena over clean here, since he's the next big babyface, and then have HBK challenge Angle on RAW now that he knows Angle isn't challenging for the WWE title?

I saw that match live, I was very much into it (I was a mark for Mr. Hughes back then). He pegged him with the urn post-match, right? I believe so, yes. Tatanka was kept unbeaten, and Hughes was made to look strong going into his feud with Taker that never happened.

For me, I LOVED Jerry Lynn vs. Rob Van Dam from Hardcore Heaven 1999 when I saw it live on PPV, the first ECW PPV I ever saw...but watching it again now, I don't like it at all. What are matches you've done total 180's on and why?

Going off this topic, I want to convert all my old wrestling tapes to DVD...what would be the best DVD burner to pick up? How exactly does the whole process work? (I'm pretty technologically retarded)
