Torre likes to go lefty, righty, lefty, righty, so as of now I see the lineup being Damon, Jeter, Giambi, A-Rod, Abreu, Posada, Phillips/Wilson, Cabrera, Cairo.
You mean when you got owned?
I know ESPN had a list somewhere; Nash was like 8 or 9 in top PGs of all time. Just saying that it's different for everyone I guess.
EDIT: Here's the list - http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/dailydime?pa...testPointGuards
The trade most probably wasn't going to happen if it included Duncan, Clippard, Tabata, and/or Hughes, even for Bobby Abreu. I'm happy Cashman didn't include any of them or Proctor.
The Knicks signed Jared Jeffries to an offer sheet for the MLE. The Wizards have told everyone they will match any offer.
Also, Luke Walton will appear in an episode of "The Young and the Restless".
It's not a trade, but there's a rumor going around that Yuliesky Gourriel defected to the Yankees. I don't have a true source, but it's been heard by more than one party (only reason i'm posting this). Just wanted to throw that out there if people start hearing about it in the coming days.
They are trying to get Craig Wilson, but I think they want Melky. If they can get Wilson without giving up Melky, or any of the top prospects (I doubt they're seriously asking for any of the top prospects [Hughes, Tabata, Duncan, etc.]), then I hope they can get this done. Craig Wilson would fit perfectly with the team.
That sucks. Hinrich is a better defender than mostly everyone on the team (did well on Wade this year in the playoffs), he can hit from anywhere on the court, and rebounds well for his position.
It should be Bowen, Battier, and Miller (well or Jamison). Miller's alright, but you already have Bosh, Amare, and Howard. I know Miller's a better passer and shooter than all of them, but you don't need five shooters on the court.
Is Chien-Ming Wang a better version of Carlos Silva? Effective low k pitcher?
Are Philip Hughes and Tyler Clippard the best 1-2 punch in the minors as of now (in terms of performance)? Clippard's been pretty dominant lately.
Now they include what A-Rod did the night before in their updates (WFAN's 20/20, ESPN Radio's Sportscenter). A-Rod commented about this, how they're all on his dick.
I saw a fair share. They play the Knicks and Nets a shitload of times, and they get their national games as well. A guy who averages 6 shots per 25 minutes a game is not a chucker.
Salmons is a good player when he gets time. He does a little bit of everything, and can run the point a bit. I could see him averaging like 10, 5 and 5 or so.
Daniels has a big contract though; I think Croshere's expiring. He's atleast a servicable backup, and the Mavs had a bunch of guards. This one makes no sense to me. It seems like Josh Powell is involved too, and I could only guess that Indy thinks he can become a Ben Wallace type player for them or something.
