Angle/Benoit Rumble 2003 I'm guessing Mania XX will be the popular choice, and it's worthy -- great match, great moment. But for me, the match with Angle at the RR is on another level as one of THE classic matches of all time, and the reaction from the crowd both during the match and after it (the standing ovation for Benoit, the loser) prove that Benoit had arrived as a bona fide main eventer.

There is absolutely nothing to indicate this. In fact, the only logical conclusion is that the EC is less prestigious, since none of the men in it could win the Royal Rumble and all are using it as a second chance. Your argument that "WWE will promote HHH winning in the Chamber as more important than the Rumble" is completely predicated on the belief that HHH will win the EC, when there's zero indication he'll even be involved. Every part of your "logic" is nothing more than speculative.

Here's the deal. Starting now, until the end of November, I'm looking for the most idiotic thing said at TSM. This thread will serve as a nomination thread of sorts; it will also be a public forum, where the intellectual elite can debate over the worst lines, while the brain-impaired can plead their cases. I'm not limiting this to any one part of the board. WWE folder, Movies/TV, Sports, LSD, Chocolate Socket...it's all fair game. And no one is safe or should be exempt. I mean, we all know who the frontrunners are, but even smart, well-respected posters have their moments. 100 Reasons the WWE Folder Sucks, I'm looking at YOU. As of December 1, I will choose a winner based on your debate and my own personal sentiements. Then we'll begin again, with a new winner each month. The TSM Dumbass of the Month. CAN YOU HANDLE IT? This'll go until we tire of it. And if it never takes off, no harm, no foul. But I think it's important to be able to laugh at ourselves, and more importantly, to be able to laugh at other people. Hmm. I had abandoned this quest, but it may be worth revisiting. If nothing else, I can replace the Marvin line I'm rocking, which was amusing Monday but has fallen exponentially every day since.

POORLY EXECUTED. I mean it was fine, I just don't get the deception for half the promo and THEN the big reveal. Survivor Series is over; either you're hiding your motives or you aren't. I think Vickie's heel turn would also have been better served as a part of the Cutting Edge, or at least done in front of the live audience. Plus, Vickie's still not a very good actress, even by WWE standards, although your mileage may very. Anyway, Vickie being not such a looker is not the problem here. As for the angle itself, I don't think it's great or terrible. It's something relatively fresh, so whatever, I'll roll with it.
