The hypocrisy in fighting against Jasmine and choosing free will but then taking the Connor deal is pretty interesting.

FE is already here and already in everyone and everything. Why would having a corporeal body be THAT big of a deal? It's just one more demon on Earth. It would mean it could be killed too. I guess it depends on how you see it's claim that it will be made flesh. And yeah, FE and Senior Partners are pretty much the same concept. Especially since we found out SP are not on this plane and must fight through agents.

When I worked at Toys R Us they always had a bunch of old crap in the back. Like PS2 was out and we had Saturn and SNES games that wouldn't sell. They'd just sit there forever.

Why would it being corporeal give it a monopoly on evil? Where are you getting this from? It's all speculation. On the show FE is like as vague as can be.

Why would they lose anything if FE was corporeal? We know like zero about what FE was going to do. FE itself doesn't even seem to know what's going to happen if it wins. Awakening is incredible.

We dont know if FE would work with SP nor do we know if FE had a plan outside tip the scales.

Ive said before I like Riley. when the Beast was taking over the world Lilah said the senior partners wanted to talk with him about working together. Also if they were so bent on stopping FE they would have told Lilah to be a little bit more serious about it than to just offer it like that.

In the ep it appears their numero uno task was to get Angel on their side and the amulet wasn't really all that big of a deal. Riley would beat Gunn. Gunn is a street fighter, Riley is a highly trained elite soldier. If weapons are allowed it goes for Riley even more. Riley is cooler than Gunn too.

Doyle is really cute, though not as much as Wes. I wish Cordy had died and they just had the cutie trio of Angel, Doyle and Wes.

The idea that they "knew" Angel would take it to Buffy who would then give it to Spike is such a stretch. Come on....that's just plain goofy. What a coincidence it all just happened to work out ok. Again, if the plan was to prevent FE from taking over the world why go through so much risk when they could have just gave it to Buffy somehow themselves? It makes no sense that they would just "know" it would end up on Spike. Also, they didn't just flat out offer the Connor thing. They first tried to sell to them that they could use W&H for good and all that and the amulet thing. In fact it's implied they didn't actually offer Connor's new life at all, that it was ANGEL's idea. He gets in her face and says "Let ME tell you what the deal is going to be!" It makes a LOT more sense that the amulet was just part of the deal than to say they somehow knew it would kill the ubies and just knew it would reach Spike. lindsay obviously enters into the issue at some point.

Never seen it. Watching Home, the vibe I get is the W&H actually doesn't really care about FE's apocalypse at all. It doesn't seem to be a priority. If they wanted to stop FE wouldn't they plant it in SD to make SURE Buffy gets it? All they do is just casually bring it up as part of the deal to become CEO. If they were actually worried about the end of the world surely they wouldn't risk it with messing with Angel. It's not even clear if they know what it does. All Lilah says is that it's "apparently crucial" and Angel says the translation is confusing. I think W&H had it stored somewhere and just used it as a bargaining chip to get Angel to join them.

Did it ever specifically say what they had planned? No. It's speculation. There's too much mystery around it. Who was it meant for? Was lindsay responsible for them getting it or did he just dig it out of the ground? Did W&H want Angel to become a ghost? I don't like that such a major thing is left open like that.

It's a mix of them breaking and me wanting multiple. Original launch PS2 broke after a few years so I bought a new one. Then I got an import PS2 to play Tekken 4 early. Then I bought a used PS2 to take to work. That PS2 broke so I got another used PS2 to take it's place. I've had 4 PSXs.

Yeah, you have to buy a joystick extra to play it at home to get the same experience. Plus there's that whole "have to be at the arcade to play it" thing. Well, the money wasn't much of a big deal to you...but there were people with a lot less money to throw around obsessed on obtaining the nigh-worthless thrown-together black box. I'm glad it croaked early on many of those fools. Even if I didn't have a lot of money I would have bought it and it would have been worth it. What were the launch games? The only one I can remember is Tekken Tag Tournament. Silent Scope, SF EX 3, Dynasty Warriors 2, DOA2, Fantavision, SSX, some othjer stuff. I'm glad it croaked early on many of those fools. I've bought 5 PS2s!

I hate how Wolfram & Hart defeats FE. Like seriously I just HATE it. If I could change one thing it actually wouldn't be Anya's death, it would probably be the way FE is defeated. It really, really, really bugs me. I can't stand how the final big bad just goes away and how it's beaten thanks to tbe bad guys on another show. Horrible.

Owning a home version is different than playing a game at the arcade. Have you ever considered maybe, just maybe, some people actually liked the PS2 launch games? Just a wacky thought I had. I know personally I didn't "cave in" and Sony "earned" my money. I got PS2 the day it came out because TTT is really awesome.

They should have figured out a strategy, like what they usually do against tough foes that have previously beat Buffy.
