  1. Off topic, that avatar, and I'm seeing that right, is that AJ Styles doing what appears to be some Sunset-flip piledriver?
  2. Ohhhhhhh poor JR..... "First Triple Crown winner" Yeesh I know he meant Grand Slam, but ever here of a few guys named Pedro Morales, Bret Hart.....even freakin Diesel!!!!
  3. I see Jericho is going for the "Westley" look from "The Princess Bride"
  4. This is the same fanbase that cheered on a heel Dudleyz who put Terri and Mae Young through tables
  5. Gene can walk around backstage while bad things happen around him- "Gene what happen to The Hurricaine?" "IT'S NOT MY FAULT!"
  6. I don't understand it, but I have a more fun time watching stuff from 88 than the stuff from today. I mean the matches were probably worse than the average match today, there was still a roided ugly monster with the initials HHH dominating everything (I know he wasn't Hollywood till 96 but go with it) and some of storyline's made even less sense. So why do I enjoy watching SNME, Superstars and PPV's from the 80's easier than say, popping in a RAW from 2 weeks ago. 1)Nostalgia, I guess because this was the age I became a fan, I'll always connect fond memories with it. 2)Not oversaturated, angles could take their time, so even if they were stupid, they weren't rushed. 3)The aura of mystery, I know more about what's going on behind the scenes of the current product than I do the backstory behind stuff from 15 years ago. Suspension of disbelief is easier when you don't know who's trying to bury who to protect their spot. Anyone else get the same feeling as I do?
  7. I caught the film last night, and I thought it was incredibly fun and enjoyable. I agree with whoever said the main actors were having a blast, their giddy performances added to my enjoyment. I'd easily give the film a B+. Oh and the last line of the film "Lens cap", and the look on Gwenyth's face, classic

    Eddie's DVD

I read on Wrestlecrap that there's an Easter Egg on the DVD with Mean Gene and Hector Guerrero recalling the Gobblygooker debacle. That right there makes it Must Buy!
  9. I'm watching Survivor Series 87, at this point the Women's Survivor match. It's incredible how over and innovative The Jumping Bomb Angels were. They could've been huge if women's wrestling, let alone women's tag team wrestling, was considered more than just a curiosity in the US. For anyone with a knowledge of late 80's Japanses women's wrestling, did the Jumping Bomb Angels have success in Japan?
  10. I officially <3 Christy

  17. "From Calgary Alberta Canada, BRET 'HITMAN' CLARKE" O wait I'm sorry that was Michael Buffer on Nitro
  18. What I want to know is where's SMAFFLES?
  19. Nah, just "Brickhouse" with Stacy dancing Ratings go up 2.73 points, problem solved.
  20. And how was Orton much more likable that he is a successful face now? Can you honestly say you really care and really love Randy Orton's character now? Oh, I don't mind the complaint about Orton's shitty face run (should've stayed heel AND kept the IC title), it's just every 5 minutes you bring it up. I know you're upset and all and you have a right to complain, but man take a breather.
  21. ....ohandthatHaydenguyreplacedoldAnnikanattheendofJedi.... WHAT!?!?!
