I think he should be retained, personally. I just hope he brings better comedy next time. On another few boards, he titles the post, "Cougar Club is coming out! Who's excited?!?" or something like that. The mental image of someone being super excited to watch crap like Cougar Club is just too funny to me.

I wonder if he was supposed to write that, or if he realized that it's so obvious that he is just shilling a shitty movie for his company that he might as well just let the cat out of the bag. I am sorry, but who mentions the likes of Eurotrip when they are trying to mention how I should see a movie? Also, American Pie? That movie came out 8 years ago. The target audience for this movie were probably about 10 back then, and are likely to barely even remember that movie. Well, do you really need to advertise something like, say, Batman in forums? They are just trying to drum up a few extra buys for a shitty movie. I am not sure how that type of thing works, as most people would automatically ferret them out to be nothing more than a spammer. Then again, the people who are most likely to buy a movie like this one would probably be too stupid to notice.

Maybe not, but futbol fans put this act to shame Hell, even European women's volleyball fans put these guys to shame. I can't see American sports fans doing something so stupid that it halts all sports in the country for a week.

That would be me. I figured it's not like I would have many other chances to pick the Lions in this thing, as it's not like this thing will go to Week 17 which is the one week the Lions are an absolute lock to win every year, thus fucking up their draft position. I hate the Lions.

Wow. I never expected Michigan to be this bad out there. I didn't think they'd win, despite picking them in Bored's contest, but I thought they would at least play better than a 1-AA team out there. Hell, I think Lenoir-Rhyme could probably make more of a game of it against Oregon, at least they'd try hard. If this keeps up, then it looks like Notre Dame-Michigan could be a worst game of the year candidate. How the heck do you pick a winner for that one? Speaking of embarrassments, I just noticed that Florida St. is losing 10-0 to UAB. Ouch.

I picked the Lions over the Raiders myself. I remember winning a similar contest on here a few years ago taking similar risks, so I figure it couldn't hurt. Worst case scenario is that I have another "Fuckin' Lions!" story to tell people. Best case is that I get through week 1 without using up any team of note. I can't lose.

It still puzzles me as to how both Illinois and Maryland made it to BCS bowls in the same year. In Illinois' case, how the heck did they get by the likes of Michigan, Ohio St., Penn St., Wisconsin, & Iowa? You'd figure one of those teams would have brushed aside the likes of Illinois to get the bid.

I thought my season was long since finished, but apparently I slipped into the consolation round after winning 12-0 last week. That's what I get for not trying.
