Well, you win some, you lose some. Hopefully St. Mary's and Old Dominion will win today, so I can at least get some pride back.
And 10 points in the first half?!? That's fuckin' terrible!
EDIT: Curiously, what is the lowest amount of points scored by a team in the NCAA tournament? New Mexico might be on their way to breaking the record.
It looks like Florida will hold on now. Despite the fact that I have Florida going through to the Sweet 16, I was really hoping Ohio woild have pulled it off. Oh well.
If everything holds, I will be 4 for 4 for this session, and 17 of 20 overall. I am not looking forward to later though as I have two 12s going over 5's. If it works, then it will be nice foresight, if it fails, then I will fall a bit behind.
I did. I figured that they were able to give a lot of the Big 12 fits, while Minnesota never really did anything to stand out. It looks like it is currently paying off.
I can't say that I do either. It just seems like it will be a bunch of huffing and puffing, which, in the end, won't change much more than what has already been changed. What's the point?
I don't know. He looked more like Micky Dolenz from the Monkees to me.
EDIT: It's too bad Penn's getting owned out there. Even Montana is closer than them right now.
EDIT #2: I love how yahoo says that "Washington is making a strong case for their top seed." They are beating Montana. That was pretty much expected. Now, if they are hammering the crap out of Louisville or Georgia Tech, then that's making a strong case, not beating a team like Montana.
I like the announcer who said, "If Washington can somehow pull out a win here..." like Montana has a good chance of winning, despite being a 16th seed down 16-2 in the 1st half.
I have a bad feeling that I might be forced to watched this game, since it's Midwest. I am REALLY hoping for BC-Penn. Heck, I'd even take Washington-Montana at this rate.
Looks like I went 3 for 4 as well. The other two upsets I have are New Mexico over Villanova and Old Dominion over Michigan State. I hope at least one of those pans out.
and oh yeah, St. Mary's over Southern Illinois, too.
Darn. I was hoping EKU could pull it out. The Ohio Valley Conference just never seems to make much noise in the tournament. It's Pacific-Pitt here now. Boise St.'s floor looks horrible.
I have Milwaukee/Alabama here. I love how when they were going through what was happening in the other games, they just skipped right over Pitt-Pacific.
As an aside, I really like Cleveland St.'s logo.
I think that Utah can definitely beat OU, but them beating Niagara is much more certain than them beating OU. I would at least want them to get to the Sweet 16 so my bracket doesn't look too screwed up. This is, of course, assuming they can get by UTEP.
I really hope Niagara somehow holds on against Oklahoma, it would make my "Utah to the Elite 8" prediction a bit more plausible. Besides, I like the MAAC.
I am hoping Milwaukee holds on as well, as they were one of the first round upsets I had on my bracket.
I still can't believe I picked Pitt over Pacific though.
