I moved halfway across England at the start of the year, and myspace has been really handy with keeping in tiouch with people I know. Because even people who don't normally go on the net have one, most everyone I know is there. EDIT: Also, any friendship that ends because of their position in a top 8 is gonna end pretty quickly anyway for another reason.

Myspace has just taken off, for some unknown reason which will be debated on some 2000's retrospective in twenty years time. It's now got to the point that if you meet someone, you assume they have a myspace. I met a chick in France and, instead of swpping e-mail addresses or numbers we found each other on myspace. It's just omnipresent which, on the whole, is probably a good thing. It probably brings more people together than it pulls apart.

Dammit alf, don't change threads halfway through me reading them. About The Pit, Boardum is pretty much seperate from the rest of the board, as is the politics section. Nonetheless, both are doing pretty well. The Pit's doing better for longer than most of the other spin-off boards (at least since the WDI/SNKT hey-days). As for WP, this is a lot of drama about someone writing stuff on the internet. Shame on you all.
