    Nip/Tuck Season 5

Another very so-so episode. Just not much happening on this show that I like anymore. Sean and Christian need do just screw and get it over with AND STOP BRINGING BACK ROSIE!

I have no doubt that Lindland is a top MW contender, but I remember usually being bored by his fights

    Dexter

Damn, I wanted to see Doakes pull through and have some kind of understanding with Dex, but I guess it couldn't happen, but damn, I didn't think he'd die in the first couple minutes of the episode. I wasn't digging too much Lila stuff this season, but whatever, it worked. Shame that the last two Dexter books sucked, I'm glad the TV series took a little from the book and ran with it. Dexter, Brotherhood, The Tudors, Weeds... Showtime > HBO

MMAjunkie.com has obtained ratings information for the Saturday December 8 finale for The Ultimate Fighter Season 6. Spike TV’s live telecast of The Ultimate Fighter: Team Hughes vs. Team Serra” finale drew 2.5 million viewers and reached more men in the demographics of 18-34, 18-49, and 25-34 than anything else on television (broadcast or cable) in its timeslot. The telecast peaked with an impressive 2.9 million viewers at 11:30pm despite head-to-head competition from the Mayweather-Hatton pay-per-view boxing event. Overall, the three-hour Spike TV telecast drew a 1.8 HH (1.7 million) rating with a 2.7 rating (769,000) rating with Men 18-34, a 2.8 rating (471,000) with Men 25-34, and a 2.2 rating (1.2 million) with Men 18-49 and 2.5 million viewers. MMAjunkie.com has received official salary information for the event from the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC). The full list of reported salaries and official results includes: Roger Huerta - $38,000 ($19,000 to show + $19,000 to win) Clay Guida - $11,000 Huerta defeated defeated Guida via submission (rear naked choke) in round three Mac Danzig - $16,000 ($8,000 to show + $8,000 to win) Tommy Speer - $8,000 Danzig defeated Speer via submission (rear naked choke) in round one Jon Koppenhaver - $16,000 ($8,000 to show + $8,000 to win) Jared Rollins - $8,000 Koppenhaver defeated Rollins via technical knockout (strikes) in round three George Sotiropoulos - $16,000 ($8,000 to show + $8,000 to win) Billy Miles - $8,000 Sotiropoulos defeated Miles via submission (rear naked choke) in round one Ben Saunders - $16,000 ($8,000 to show + $8,000 to win) Dan Barrera - $8,000 Saunders defeated Barrera via unanimous decision Troy Mandaloniz - $16,000 ($8,000 to show + $8,000 to win) Richie Hightower - $8,000 Mandaloniz defeated Hightower via technical knockout (strikes) in round one Matt Arroyo - $16,000 ($8,000 to show + $8,000 to win) John Kolosci - $8,000 Arroyo defeated Kolosci via submission (arm bar) in round one Roman Mitichyan - $16,000 ($8,000 to show + $8,000 to win) Dorian Price - $8,000 Mitichyan defeated Price via submission (ankle lock) in round one Jonathan Goulet - $14,000 ($7,000 to show + $7,000 to win) Paul Georgieff - $8,000 Goulet defeated Georgieff via submission (rear naked choke) in round one Every winning fighter earned a salary that was 50 percent to show and 50 percent as a win bonus. For example, Danzig earned $16,000; $8,000 of that was his base salary, and the other $8,000 was earned as a win bonus. (Likewise, all of the night’s losing fighters would have doubled their salaries with a victory because of the win bonuses.)

While it would still be another beating, a third Franklin fight would still be more marketable then almost any other of the top 185ers

If Rich wins another 3 or 4 fights in a row against top guys and no one's beaten Silva yet then they'll have to give him another title shot.

    The Wire: Final Season

It's not going to happen, but I'd like to see the series end with Bubbles getting clean. But then it wouldn't be Bubbles. And everyone else can die, but I want Omar standing when it's done

Just finished watching the CNBC piece. It was a lot kinder to the UFC and Dana White than I thought it would be. And while I agree with Jim Lamplee (sp?) that boxing is not dead...however it is not close to where I used to be. I was never a big boxing fan, but I could still name off the champs and top contenders...I can probably only name a handful of who the top guys are now anymore

    Oz

They have all the seasons pretty cheap now at my Sams Club, as well as all Six Feet Under seasons ($17 ea) I also hated Alzerez's send off. They make him bitch to a guy who was in a grand total of two damn episodes. I understand him accepting that he was never getting out, but it was just bad. Cyril's execution also pissed me off. When they set it up the first time emotions were so high...then they get the call to put it off. When they finally did it there was nothing to it at all. And I don't think Beecher kills Keller more than Keller killing himself really and making it look like Beecher did it. That was a weak shove. I didn't mind Said's death, but wish they would have done more with Idkez after he killed him. BUT MORALES (sp?) WAS THE DUMBEST DEATH ON THE SHOWii! It's been a few years, I am probably do for another rewatching of the series. I've seen it through completion I think 4 times now

Yeah, seasons 6 they just went on a killing spree, a lot of pointless deaths near the end

    Dexter

Hugh Laurie is usually a favorite. Critics love Mad Men. This season of Big Love was a little weak. I'm just wrapping up season one of the Tudors, good show, but I don't see Meyers winning. Here's to hoping

The Michigan State Senate passed a bill 23-13 to legalize MMA. The house had already passed the bill so it only needs the okay of Governor Jennifer Granholm. Hopefully that cunt Granholm passes the bill so we can get some fighting here
