A returning Fury~! (Y)~!

What difficulty are you guys using? I have it on normal and I'll get reversed occasionally and get some frustration, not classics. But I figure if I put it on hard then I'll get my ass kicked.

The Shield, season 5, official thread
The Ill One replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
I figure the kid would be Ronnie's or they pull a bait-and-switch and have it be Vic's. (Thinking back to the car scene when they're shadowing the captain's house). I liked the opening to season five but felt skimmped that the Strike Team became all friendly again. But at the same time it shows how united they are at the core and that'll play a huge part with Whitaker trying to bring Vic down. -
Well I want to be the first to give congrats to The 70s Dude for picking up his first win in his debut. (Y)~! I skimmed the awesomeness that is the Ghost Machine 2.0, liked the brutality in the light tube match, and I still need to read the main event.

The Shield, season 5, official thread
The Ill One replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
I was thinking about that one and I'm not liking the idea so much. Vic versus Shane has been used a lot but it's almost a younger versus older brother ordeal because of how close Shane and Vic are. Then with Lem it just seems like he's been so frustrated and had his conscience gnawing at him since day one (well since Terry bit the bullet) so he could finally snap. The problem is I can't see Vic being as intense towards Lem... but who knows. I'm excited for this season and for me- 3 4 1 2 -
MAIN EVENT INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCH Jay Hawke vs. Wildchild vs. Stryke ~Damn, now this a great main event. I'm going to go with WC but either one of these guys can easily win it. BEST OF 5, ROUND 1! LIGHTBULB DEATHMATCH! Akira Kaibatsu vs. Bruce Blank ~Delicious. Blank to take the first one. HARDCORE MATCH JJ Johnson vs. Manson ~I'll go with Johnson but never doubt MANSONOSITY~! HANDICAP MATCH Zyon/Spike vs. Kevin Coyote Special Guest Announcer: William 'Justice' Hearford ~Zyke. SINGLES MATCH Landon Maddix vs. TORU Takahara ~TORU Takahara but never count Maddix out. SINGLES MATCH Ghost Machine vs. Max King ~Does not compute. (See, that's a shitty little reference to his character 'cause I'm still not sure how to think of Ghost Machine 2.0.) SINGLES MATCH Tim Dillon vs. The 70's Dude ~The -70s- Dude.

I tweaked with the Samoa Joe from caw.ws (the one that was linked to earlier in the thread) and got surprisingly nice results.

Has anybody else noticed the insane ammount of Austin's head bobbling? It's insane and it's even bad when he's standing still.

SWF Lockdown Card - Janvier 4th!

Would I be hip if I got Petey lost in Afghanistan...? -
Does anybody else have CAWs sites? For the first time since No Mercy I'm using CAWs. I've been able to create a decent Samoa Joe- I just tweaked a bit using the guidelines from that link. "Sick" Nick Mondo's spot on, Kobashi turned out great, and Liger turned out alright but I ran out of layering options. It felt like I was wasting time at first but it's created a refreshing approach to the game- kept it from getting stale.

Teaching Intelligent Design Found Unconstitutional
The Ill One replied to Ace309's topic in Current Events
That's fair enough and I can respect that. But we do have some really interesting evidence that vaguely lets us "see the beginning" (not like footage but the background radiation, gases found on the outer rims, first stunted galaxies). -
Amazingly enough I found Joe vs Kobashi on Limewire PRO. I usually just search by federation name then browse hosts of people who seem to have decent matches.

Teaching Intelligent Design Found Unconstitutional
The Ill One replied to Ace309's topic in Current Events
I have an Uncle who's a priest and he just stared when I asked him that. "God is God... he's infinite and all-powerful, he never had a creation." I've never heard any Christian religion explain any beforehand because there was God, nothing, and then there was the Creation. That seems even more far-fetched, to me, than some of the theories of the primordial period. Also seems like a really easy to squirm your way out of a tough question. -
It irks me if I don't finish a game at some point. But I'll be playing a couple games at the same time and then one day realize I never finished one. Then I try to go back and finish that up. Like right now I have Gun going (I'm stuck at a frustrating level) and Big Red One going at the same time.

Teaching Intelligent Design Found Unconstitutional

That'll always be the downfall of the Big Bang theory is what came beforehand and it's trigger. A lot of cosmologists say that we can't determine what was before it. Or that the Big Bang isn't meant to unlock all the mysteries but simply explain what we've observed. That it's beyond the "scope of science." That sounds like a great way to duck underneath the question but if you believed in the Big Bang and their theories then it makes some sense. If the Big Bang also created time, as we know it, then how could we measure what happened beforehand? Our logical "time" thinking doesn't apply because the time we know of didn't exist before the Big Bang. But at the same time it's always possible to ask "what happened before that?" So some cosmologists became hell-bent on a theory of what may of happened beforehand and churned out some interesting theories. Like Nothingness wasn't nothing, which sounds like a contradiction, and even this "nothing" was unstable. Even that began to decay and boil together in spacetime "bubbles." Through the chaos of quantum fluctations that lead up to the Big Bang it made the energy beforehand bumpy. Then a small ripple triggered a "Big Bang" effect and due to its "bumpy" energy it wasn't distributed evenly, which created everything. Or another thought is that beforehand was a state of multi-dimensions, fields, and having quantum fluctations that fell into place for the Big Bang. There's not only some evidence supporting the Big Bang but a lot of other theories to cover what happened beforehand or even better alternatives than I.D. to teach. But still our best answer is we don't know, we can't really "know" for sure. We can only measure out the background radiation for an idea of the "age" but that can only go so far as to the Big Bang. That whole ramble right there, sorry for that too because I'm not very skilled at explaining things, is why I support teaching the Big Bang theory. There's so much evidence with a few holes that have alternative theories that may explain it- classes could skim or get really deep into the topic where options are presented. Meanwhile Intelligent Design just seems like a flop because it says an "intelligent agent" incited and was an intervention. Plus it's not even recognized as true science because it can't be expiremented, doesn't predict or create a hypothesis. Putting my personal beliefs aside it just seems like Intelligent Design is (and this will sound condescending) inferior to other theories taught. Edit: A couple edits for coherency. Oh and for sources, a brief browse with google and clicking on some different sites will cover all of this. -
I can sympathize with the ladder matches, I despise the ladder matches in this game. When it's one-on-one and the opponent climbs the ladder if you try to climb up it all that happens is you get a punch that sends you down to the canvas. Or, worse, they do that armdrag down. But that just irks me but it's how frequently they climb up the damn ladder that kills the match for me. If they're standing, usually they're going up that ladder. There's my lil' tirade about SVR '06.

Also try to knock the other opponent on the outside with a "big move" because (at least for me) telling my partner to attack him never, ever works. Tag matches can get very, very frustrating because of that.

But you know you loved it.

1000 Reasons why Late Night with Conan O'Brien
The Ill One replied to The Mandarin's topic in Television & Film
agreed 222. Jim Carrey calls Conan on his string dance and that he cuts the strings wrong, he should cut them below the waist not above. That was so absurd it was funny. 224. Conan's explanation of why he cuts them above the waist. -

Yeah, San Andreas was a nice twist when Ryder and Big Smoke turned out to be the major players with the crack. I coulda' sworn there were brief little hints in Big Smoke's missions and conservations but I could be making that shit up looking back on it now. Another favorite is in Starcraft where Kerrigan becomes infested.
